'Bachelor Pad 3' Recap: Chris Is Too Busy Playing the Women to Win the Game
Ok, so what the heck is the deal with Chris Bukowski being the resident casanova on Bachelor Pad this season? Because in a house full of veterans, he definitely seemed like the least likely of the bunch to become "that guy" who has somehow managed to charm the pants socks off a decent number of the girls in the house. (Seriously, what do they see in this dude? He's not that hot.)
After watching Chris on Emily Maynard's season of The Bachelorette -- I pretty much deemed him to be the "crazy dude" in the house and I was so relieved when she finally kicked him to the curb. He struck me as the type who was bound to snap at one point or another -- but apparently Bachelor Pad is exactly what he needed to prove that he isn't crazy -- he's just a major player. He cuddles with Jamie one night, then spends the night in a hotel room with Sarah the next, and somehow still manages to reassure Blakeley that he's loyal to her -- because he's got the game all figured out.
Or at least that's what he likes to think. Because the only way to become a true player at the game of Bachelor Pad is to pay your dues and become a part of the veteran crowd -- something which Chris most definitely isn't. And just because he managed to wrap Blakeley, Jamie, and Sarah around his little finger doesn't mean he's in control of the game, which he obviously realized when he campaigned to get Blakeley out of the house and saw his master plan foiled before his eyes.
As much as Chris wanted to believe he had the final vote secured tonight, he got played by the very people he was playing -- and the alliance held strong and sent Jamie packing. And even though it was kind of enjoyable to see the confused expression on Chris's face at the end of the night -- I couldn't help but feel absolutely awful for Jamie.
She fell for the classic bad boy trick and wound up being totally screwed by a guy who led her to believe she was someone special. And while I usually make fun of the chicks who leave the house in the limo crying their eyes out, I couldn't help but want to punch Chris in the nose for being so mean and disrespectful to her. (Who does that?!)
It will be very interesting to see how things play out next week since all of the major players in the game have finally caught onto Chris and realized he isn't all he's cracked up to be when it comes to strategy -- especially with the women. And something tells me karma won't wait too long to come back and bite him straight where it hurts.
Do you think Chris has what it takes to last till the end of Bachelor Pad?
