Not Daniel Day LewisIt's been a rough year for Abraham Lincoln. Don't get me wrong, I love me some vampires, but I kind of feel like Honest Abe's reaction would've reacted to that particular cinematic interpretation of his life with a presidential facepalm. I mean, this is the guy who freed the slaves and all. Jussayin'!

Anyway, Lincoln can look down from the heavens again without fear -- thanks to Steven Spielberg and his upcoming movie Lincoln, starring Daniel Day Lewis as you-know-who. 

No battles with the undead in this flick. Says Spielberg: “Our movie is really about a working leader who must make tough decisions and get things done in the face of overwhelming opposition." And with uber-method actor Daniel Day Lewis in the title role, we can expect an extremely on-point portrayal of that working leader.
