OH NO HE DIDN'T!!! Bill Compton, sir, I am disgusted with you. Dis-gusted. You hear me? Look, I was already on Team Eric. Card-carrying member. But I never had a problem with Bill and his inflated sense of morality/Church Lady superior dance thing. (You know, his whole tortured human-loving vampire walking contradiction shtick.) Until now, that is.
Because tonight we learned, once and for all, that Bill does NOT have the courage of his convictions. OH NO HE DOESN'T!!! (And if you don't want to know why, stop reading here!!)
Okay. Ready? So apparently all it takes to turn Bill "mainstreaming is the only way" Compton into a ruthless bloodsucking Sanguinista is a little hot vampire tail (Salome). Like, never mind that there's a vulnerable human being begging for her life because she has a 4-month-old baby at home. Never mind about that! Never mind that meaningful flashback you had about your own human child. Nope. Because Bill Compton is just as wishy-washy and spineless as I always suspected. Salome says drink, and what do you do? You DRINK!
Pa-thet-ic. Good thing Eric hasn't lost HIS head to this whole Lilith-worshipping cult madness. If anybody's gonna be able to save Sookie from this new Freddy Krueger-esque vampire phantom guy who killed her parents, it's Eric.
As for Hoyt almost killing Jessica and that ghost lady from Iraq possessing Lafayette and Alcide all bare-assed naked and Sam cuddling his duplicate self? Well, all you really need to remember or care about is the bare-assed Alcide part.
What were we talking about again? Oh yeah. Vampires.
Do you think Bill will betray Sookie?

Agree, Kimberly...I said to DH "Since when is Eric the voice of moral reason on this show?". I liked it though, and was absurdly proud of my pretend vampire boyfriend.
I think Bill is just playing along for the greater good (stopping Salome & company). He's been in this position before (when he "worked" for Russell).
Bummed about Nora. When she first showed up, I didn't like her, but she grew on me during her imprisonment, mainly I think because the actress did such a fine job. Now I'm over her...she better help Eric get the heck out of there.
Also loved when Eric asked Bill if he was coming, when Eric decided he wanted to go to bed. I think they've moved from uneasy alliance to genuine affection.
I was kind of hoping Alcide and Sookie would hook up this season, but his new girlfriend seems more like a perfect match. I'm glad the ball is FINALLY rolling now on this season and its getting more and more interesting. The whole Lillith-thing was getting quite boring up until last week's episode when things took a turn after drinking her blood (and then it was just plain fun to watch again!). I just don't like Bill anymore. I've turned completely against him. So it's ALL up to Eric now to save the world!
The previews show Bill biting Sookie next week though, wonder if Eric is going to save her.
I thoroughly enjoyed Alcide's sex scene though. That was hot. The growling...yum.
I loved Jesus popping back in with Lafayette on his drive home. I still hate that they killed him off. :(
Sam playing Luna as Sam was cracking. me. up. He's a good actor. He got Tommy's mannerisms down last season and it was funny seeing him act like a girl last night.
Here's my issue with this season: They bring back Russell, the wolf packs drinking V and following him again. They're essentially rehashing the same story line with some added twists on it. I do actually like Russell but there were so many ways they could go. Russell didn't need to be the "big bad" again. I'm not one of those who gets pissy about changes between the books and tv show. I recognize they are separate entities and I'm fine with it, love the differences. However, at this point they are changing some fundamental things about the characters and their back stories (pretty much all fae related details, Sookie's powers, how their parents died, Eric's maker, Pam's story, etc. I was really hoping they would introduce Mr. Cataliades and Diantha but it doesn't sound like they will now.) and I would be lying if I said it didn't bug me. I guess that comes with the territory of knowing the source material. Last week's episode royally pissed me off but last night's was much better. I'm still enjoying it. Part of the reason I watch the show though is because I want to see what I read be "brought to life" and they're leaving out some amazing parts and characters. It's just a bummer. :(
I just had an idea pop into my head. How much you wanna bet the blood they all drank and got high off of was fae blood?
