Kim Richards had one of the saddest story lines on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Unlucky in love, lonely, and -- as we learned during the reunion show -- an alcoholic. Looks like her bad luck continues. After what everyone thought was a successful stint in rehab, Radaronline reports that Kim may be abusing pain pills.
According to the website, the reality star, who went to a treatment facility at the start of the year, has friends and family members heartsick about the alleged relapse.
This is especially shocking because she had been clean for several months before slipping back into bad habits, according to the site. Apparently, she took a downward turn when she was prescribed pain pills after a nose job.
A friend revealed she was taking Vicodin for the post-surgery discomfort and Ambien to help her sleep. "Kim has appeared to be totally stoned whenever I've seen her recently," the pal also told Radaronline. "Her speech is slurred, her eyes are glassy, and she's incoherent at times."
Sad, isn't it. It’s as though none of these Real Housewives can get their lives together. Feuding aside, they are constantly dealing with bankruptcies, failed relationships, troubled children, addiction, bad hair weaves, the list goes on and on. It's an endless stream of one hot mess after another.

I'm not sure that's a relapse, could simply be the effects of the drugs. Vicodin does make some people seem amost drunk or just out of it- especially combined with a sleeping medication (Ambien is known to have similar effects on some as Xanax or Valium would, and even can make you fail a drug screen for benzodiazapines).
Even if it is, as a recovering addict myself, I can say that splashing this "relapse" all over every media source available is more damaging than anything. If this is, indeed, a relapse then all of this negative/judging media coverage is likely to make her worse (ever heard of self-medicating?) What she needs is support. I don't think it's fair to expect celebrities to go to rehab once and be forever cured, as there are very very very few humans anywhere who have that capability. But that's just my opinion =)

I thought it was something worst than alcohol the way she was acting on the show I hope she gets the help she needs.

i agree babydoll.!! they go to rehab for a couple months and dr drew thinks he helps them. all for show.!! then we watch the news, and one has over dosed.!! i knew kim was needing help. she acted to crazy on the show., if that was a normal person we would be arrested. i mean by that not a star. a supposed star. look at janelle, and amber on teen moms. what a disgrace.!!
She needs not to be on TV, filming with all these fighting women, it's too much pressure. I wish her family would act in her best interests and take care of her until she was stronger in sobriety. I wish her the best but don't think she has much of a chance to stay sober with all the drama going on around her...I hope she can do it.
Go figure.
This information hasn't be proven,it is only hearsay. Until Kim or Kyle or the show make an announcement saying it's true,I will continue to Kim the benefit of the doubt!
