Emilia Clarke is a natural brunetteWhoa, talk about worlds colliding! It's no secret that I'm absolutely obsessed with Game of Thrones, both the books and HBO show, so I was really surprised to hear that one of my favorite actresses from the series is being considered by fans as a favorite to play Anastasia Steele in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie!
And believe it or not, I could actually see it. A new Pinterest poll revealed the top 10 actresses fans want to see play this coveted role, and by far the most intriguing was Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones.
Here are a few reasons why this is actually a great idea. Good job, fans!
The 25-year-old actress, who's a natural brunette, definitely has the right look. She's both innocent and sweet yet has the potential to be extremely badass. And speaking of asses, she has absolutely no problem with nudity, as she had multiple sex scenes with her on-screen husband. Needless to say, her body is smokin'!
Not only that, she's a fantastic actress. I think many people are hoping that the movie will be far better than the campy writing in the original novels, so they need high-quality actors to pull it off. And she's also far lesser known than other actresses being considered for the part (like Kristen Stewart?), so a lot of people won't immediately connect her to her other roles, especially if she's not sporting long, flowing, blonde locks!
As long as they cast the perfect Christian Grey alongside her, she'd blossom as Anastasia. Remember the sparks and chemistry between her and Khal Drogo? One of my favorite all-time television couples (I'm a dork, it's okay), and they were only featured in a few episodes! Too bad Jason Momoa couldn't play Christian Grey ...
Needless to say, if Emilia can rock a perfect American accent, I'm all for this choice. Better than some of the others on the 10 top list, don't you think?

No way! You have to read the books, before you can say who would, or would not make a good Ana... I say it should be either the main actress from the movie, "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", (you must look at her images from before she was in that movie), or Kristen Stewart... The actress must look quite young, look pretty in a ponytail, and have a "girl next door", innocent and submissive look to her.
Kristen isnt good enough, and too well known. Katie is too old, and too well known. Im still up for Channing and his real-life wife for the couple!!
