So, you know how the other night on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Teresa Giudice slammed Bethenny Frankel and her Skinnygirl line for no reason whatsoever? I mean, other than the reason of being rude and garnering publicity for herself? Well now Caroline's daughter, Lauren Manzo, has retaliated with an anti-Teresa, pro-Bethenny (pro-publicity) tweet.
Sunday night, the youngest Manzo posted a Twitpic of herself drinking -- you guessed it -- a Skinnygirl cocktail! And along with this finely-staged photo is the caption: "I love Skinny Girl... Love that it doesn't taste diety."
Well-played, Lauren, well-played.
Listen. Think what you want of Bethenny, but the fact of the matter is, the woman is a massive success. For somebody like Teresa to bash the juggernaut cocktail line that is Skinnygirl is flat-out ridiculous. Clearly, she's just jealous. So good for Lauren for calling her out. Buuut ... I definitely think the photo -- which tagged Andy Cohen in it -- wasn't just to "fight the good fight." I think Lauren was trying to drum up a little publicity of her own.
See, the photo was posted on Sunday night -- the night RHONJ is on -- and castmembers of reality TV always see the show before it airs. So, methinks this was a wee-bit premeditated. I mean, hey, maybe Lauren drinks Skinnygirl margs all the time, but we've never seen a tweet about it before, have you?
I guess who cares, though, right? The point is this: Teresa shouldn't have made a completely unprovoked jab at Bethenny, and I have way too much time on my hands. Also, I want a Skinnygirl margarita right now. But that's unrelated. Kind of.

I am partial lately to "Duck Dynasty"- "Dallas" "Big Ang" - don't watch NY housewives.. they are all a bunch of idiots!!! and Jersey- slowly dropping off..
It amazes me how people can watch the RHONJ and say that Teresa is the only one who speaks the truth. Lets go back to when Danielle was on the show. Danielle said Teresa was filing bankruptcy, her house was in foreclosure and she never sees her niece and nephew. Teresa denied all the allegations even went as far as wanting to attack Danielle physically but we all know that was all the truth. If anything u know from the show Teresa reacts violently when she gets caught in a lie. Hence her hitting her cousin Kathy in the face when Kathy was looking for magazines on her phone in which Teresa denied talking about anyone.
Teresa's jealousy is nothing that is new. I know people who grew up with Teresa and she always hung out with people who had money, who rented shore houses for the summer when she had nothing. I guess growing up poor around a bunch of rich kids did something to her mentally and now she has to have it all no matter who she takes down in her race to fame. But one thing we all know is that God doesn't like ugly. And all her shenanigans, her scheming, her manipulating and lies are going to catch up with her and she's going to lose everything. Obviously she is still lying to the government because whenever monetary purchases or money is discussed which she has earned she lies but Juicy Drinking Joe always tells the truth so if the government isn't watching then maybe they should because Teresa is going down.
Teresa blasted Lauren on Andy Cohen Live for having the surgery by saying she doesnt agree with doing things like surgery to lose weight. She believes in doing things naturally. Who is she kidding? This is a woman who has breast implants which isnt natural at all saying she believes in only doing thing naturally. Teresa's problem is she speaks before she thinks. She doesnt realize her own actions before she says something about someone else. Regardless of what Lauren did to make herself feel better she looks great and her defending Bethenny against Teresa's comment is cool. You go Lauren!!
