Stephen Moyer's Dream 'True Blood' Sex Scene Sounds Totally Fangtastic (VIDEO)

true blood sex scene bill and samIf I had to name just one reason to watch True Blood, it would be the show's notorious steamy sex scenes, which just keep getting steamier! After going topless with co-star Sam Trammell in a hot dream sequence, Stephen Moyer told The Advocate recently that he asked the writers to pen another sexy scene along the same lines.

Specifically, he said he wants his character, Bill, to have a gay sex scene with his adversary Eric, played by Alexander Skarsgard! In fact, Moyer's been in hot pursuit of the scene for a while, elaborating, "Alex and I would absolutely embrace that. Last year, when Sookie had her fantasy about the two of them with her, we even suggested it." Whoa, baby!

Moyer confessed:

We had an awful lot of fun [the day we shot the Bill-Sam scene], and I happen to think Sam's a very good-looking man. Not that that particular scene was a challenge, but anything that seems like it could be a challenge in the script is just meat for an actor. So I looked at that scene like, 'Oh, my God, that's fantastic. I can't wait to do that!'

Awesome! I'm sure True Blood fans will eat that up. Oh, sure, there are a few dissenters. Moyer also acknowledged that there's been criticism surrounding the show becoming "too gay." But he definitely doesn't agree with naysayers, oh-so-eloquently saying:

Is there such a thing as too gay? We live in a very different world than we grew up in, so if people can't embrace that aspect of our show, then that's a shame. I certainly don't think it's specifically gay, but our show ticks a lot of boxes for a lot of people. We have an incredibly broad audience, one of the widest demographics in terms of sexuality and age groups, so obviously we're doing something right.

So true! I'm seriously impressed that True Blood continues to break boundaries and go places shows even 10-20 years ago couldn't even fathom. Remember what a huge to-do it was when Melrose Place had one gay kiss?! And the fact is that being so bold and progressive is only paying off in a huge way for the show. So, by all means, Stephen and Alexander -- have at it! Give us some more gay lovin'!

In the meantime, here's the Sam/Bill scene for your viewing pleasure:

Would you be psyched to see a steamy Bill and Eric scene? Do you give True Blood props for being progressive?

Okay, what "straight" man would specifically ask to do a sex scene with another straight man? Gross.

It would be fun to watch!  No one says you have to watch the show if it bothers you that much!

A Bill/Eric gay scene would make my ovaries shrivel up. I'm pretty sure there's a much more constructive use for the sexiness of Mr. Northman in my bedroom.
