As amazing and crazy as the Breaking Dawn 2 movie is going to be, it's becoming painfully clear that it could have been even hotter. How much hotter? WILD VAMPIRE SEX HOTTER. This is the tidbit Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson just can't resist bringing up every time they talk about the movie.
Kristen actually wanted the sex to be a lot raunchier -- but they were told to tone it down. No R-rated sex scenes for the Twilight series, period. This week at Comic-Con KStew described the "animal" sex she and Robert wanted to have in Breaking Dawn 2.
Kristen said, "The ratings, man! [It's] a tricky thing. I think, how do you have ... because we're supposed to have mind-boggling, otherworldly ... sex. In the first one, Breaking Dawn 1, we really -- this is weird -- tried to keep the first one sweet. It's about self discovery. Nothing about this series is raunchy. And I know that."

Robert jumped in to say, "I think that's the point, Kristen."
Kristen told Robert to shut the f*ck up, and added, "But in the second one, we just wanted to be animals. We're not human anymore. How do you do that? We tried, and they told us it was rated R, and we were like [snaps fingers]. So, yeah, I'm going to stop."
Aww, so somewhere, out there, we have a super-hot sex scene between Bella and Edward. And we'll probably NEVER see it. It ended up on the cutting floor. Boo. Now we'll never know what bind-boggling, otherworldly vampire sex looks like. Unless... someone leaks the censored clip! Come on, Bill Condon, Give it up. Let an intern sneak out of the building with the scene. No one will blame you. The world demands it.
Or maybe we could get a special R-rated "Director's Cut" DVD of Breaking Dawn 2. I don't want to tell the filmmakers what to do (yes I do, but I know I'd have to get in line), but it's clearly a GOOD IDEA. I'm just saying. If that were to happen, I imagine many people would be totally okay with it.
Do you wish you could see that "wild" vampire sex scene with Bella and Edward?

The target audience is the teen set, so I don't think that the studio will put something gratuitous in that both hurts their bottom line and doesn't even appear in the source material. Save the wild vampire sex scenes for True Blood.
I've been sending letters for months now trying to get LionsGate to put out a special box set of all 5 films that have all been re-cut back to what the director originally wanted the movies to look like before the censors and and time restraints made them cut their films. Call it a Director Cut or and Un-Rated Version, I don't care, but I think everyone would want all the good footage that's been left on the cutting room floor put back into each film. I know I would purchase a set like that, wouldn't you?

I have seen the sex scene
i agree, love to see the story by this cast, as in the books, if teens are reading the books, its disapointing, cutting out all the good scenes, or things put in ,not in the books, sorry, but i agree. yea,i love to see the cut out scenes, bring them on.
I'm on Kristen's side on this one, you too Rob. Maybe the DVD thing could work. One just rated R and the other PG. Let's face it, teenagers, aren't the ony one's that are really into these movies.
