Burning 'True Blood' Question: Will Sookie & Alcide EVER Get It On?! (VIDEO)

by Jacqueline Burt on July 15, 2012 at 11:29 AM

anna paquin sookie stackhouseWe can all sit around and pretend like we can't wait for tonight's episode of True Blood because we're dying to find out more about this Lilith character or because we're really worried about the fire monster catching up with Terry or what the heck happened to Sam and Luna (I am pretty curious about that one), but you and I both know the TRUTH. And the truth is, the only thing anybody cares about right now is whether or not Sookie and Alcide are EVER gonna get it on!!

Even Anna Paquin's sick of hearing about it! Although apparently not enough to just come right out and tell us what the future holds for the faerie/werewolf couple.

Everybody's like, "Sookie and Alcide, they're gonna get it on!" says Paquin.

"But you know, there's always that slightly twisted take on everything where there's ... you know, there are no happy endings on our show."

Well, duh. Who cares about a happy ending? Nobody's expecting Sookie and Alcide to hook up and then -- TA-DA! -- suddenly decide to get married and leave Bon Temps and live in some safe little vampire-free suburb where they can raise up a litter of faerie/werewolf cubs.

We just want Sookie and Alcide to Get. It. On.

Got it?

Check out this video and see what you think ...

This video can not be viewed on The Stir Mobile.

Is Anna Paquin just being coy?

Or will the Sookie/Alcide romance end before it begins?

Well they never get it on in the books. I doubt they will on the show either.

There is a category in Awards Shows named Writing (Adapted Screenplay). I believe everyone here knows that. So, anyone, please, can tell me why a scene SO EXPECTED like that, between Alcide and Sookie, that are great characters with amazing chemistry since season 3, came in such a form of BIG TIME DISAPPOINTMENT? IT seemed to finally arrive to our humble fans happiness in this current season…There’s no one in this show that could adapt a better thing to please the fans? Instead, a cataclysm of vomit scene "just in the nick of time" was presented? Why did Alan Ball gave us a such a wonderful fourth season? Well, Alan ... you spoiled us, I can tell! This season is being a freacking nightmare because you are leaving the field? You quit, we quit? Is that the deal? Because there’s no one that I know of that is pleased until now with this whole move. I, myself, can assure you, I'm with a sense of loss. I wasted my time recommending this show to those who had not seen yet, AND, I lost my will to watch until the end. For what? To bump my face into the wall…AGAIN? So..for the Burning 'True Blood' Question: Will Sookie & Alcide EVER Get It On I can say that true Blood left me literally "burned."

Here, in Brazil, there's this expression "burned" that means when you lose credibility with someone by something you did. I'm referring to my recommendation of the TRUE BLOOD show for a few friends, not fans. I do not have (YET) a 100% fluency in the language, I'm really sorry. But I really appreciate your concern (lol). Yeah I'll seek more help from my American friends. You could be one of them, If you don't mind. I'll be gratefull!

Izabel, I was teasing you. In America many people use the word literally when they mean figuratively or virtually. It drives me crazy. I know, this is my issue and I should deal with it rather than pester others about it. I would be happy to be your American friend. Good luck in your journey of our often confusing language.

Oh....Thank you very much! I will try not to use the word "literally" in this way again.  Thank's a lot! I'm really gratefull! And The english language is not difficult at all. Try to learn portuguese, or german! In this, yes, there is too much difficulty. Nice to meet you. I'm Izabel Cristina! May I ask who you are?
