It's the battle of the Hollywood Heartthrobs: Robert Pattinson vs. Andrew Garfield.
According to Us Weekly, the two hotties really, truly hate each other. With so much in common -- both are Brits, play supernatural/sci-fi heroes, and are dating costars -- you would think they would be best mates.
Not a chance say insiders. "The truth is, Andrew can't stand Rob," said the source. "Andrew hates that they're put in the same category because they're both English and around the same age."
Apparently, the rivalry began over movie roles. "Both like intense parts and go after the same roles," offered another insider. "They're just naturally competitive."
The pair even steered clear of one another while attending a mutual pal's recent wedding. "They don't enjoy hanging out," added the source. Part of the problem, it seems, may be Spidey's snarky attitude: "Andrew considers himself a 'serious actor' and sees Rob as the equivalent of a cheesy boy bander because of Twilight." Ouch!
I don't quite see the big deal? Can’t they just try to get along. After all, there are certainly enough screaming Comic-Con fans for everyone?

Andrew needs to quit whining. It's all jealousy because he's not hot, has no talent and probably gets teased about how big his head looks in relation to his puny little body.
He (Andrew) considers himself a 'serious actor'? Really dude? Spiderman reboots! What a joke!
I'm not a Rob fan personally, I just don't like his movies, but there's no reason he cannot become the next Leo DiCaprio, who was a bonafide boy band actor back in the day. Though to be fair, it's probably a bunch of bs anyways.
Technically, Andrew isn't English. He was born in California, but moved to the U.K. when he was very young. So that's out as part of the "competition". And I would like to say that Robert Pattinson had the cool hair first and Andrew is doing a poor imitation ;)
