Bella Dominates Edward in 'Breaking Dawn Part 2' (VIDEO)

by Adriana Velez on July 10, 2012 at 3:02 PM

bella breaking dawn 2We are SO in for a totally new Bella in the final Twilight movie, Breaking Dawn 2. The latest word on the saga is that now-vampire Bella "takes control" over her husband Edward! And their relationship takes on a whole new dynamic.

Director Bill Condon's partner Jack Morrissey revealed this major spoiler -- no more of this Edward-protecting-Bella business! And forget about Edward carrying Bella across the threshold like he does in the book. "No, Bella is a vampire now, so she's in control. You will like this."

A-w-e-s-o-m-e. Yes we will! So does Bella carry Edward across the threshold, then?

Okay, no, they would never mess with the series that much. ANYHOO, for everyone (me) who was ever lukewarm on the Twilight series (me), mostly because they thought Bella was kind of helpless, mopey, and boring (don't hate me), this news rocks. The final Bella that we'll see will be totally transformed into an ass-kicker. Finally!

And her relationship with Edward will be more equal. Will he love her more now that she's so fierce and powerful? I hope so. It was sweet the way he always wanted to protect her, but she's not a child. I think this will make for a more relationship between them. And it'll definitely make for a more exciting movie overall if Kristen Stewart gets a piece of the action.

But what does Morrissey mean by "in control" -- is she going to be an even bigger ass-kicker than Edward? And are we ready to see Bella that way? Well, she's a mama now. And there ain't nobody more fierce than a mama.

This video can not be viewed on The Stir Mobile.

What do you think of Bella's "taking control" in Breaking Dawn 2?

I can't WAIT for this movie and I think their love will become more fierce and loyal as he can actually be himself with her when they are "together" instead of worrying about breaking her like a little twig.

YAY! I'm so excited for November, and I'm no mom, but after reading the book and living life, I know there IS no one more fierce than a mother!

She's in control, because as a new vamp, she's actually more powerful physically than the rest of the Cullen's and as it turns out, her ability that manifests itself FINALLY in this book, is what saves them all.  At some point, to totally paraphrase, she realizes she was meant to be a vampire all along.  And while I agree she always seemed mopey and awkward, that's because she didn't ever feel like she fit anywhere, with her family, friends...even in her own skin and by the end of breaking dawn, we know why.  I believe that people will finaly fall in love with K. Stewart in this one.

The+ movie will finish the book, the way it should have done. Can hardly wait, but also a little sad. There won't be another movie to see next year. All things have to have an end though.
