Okay, so obviously the whole "imprinting" thing in Breaking Dawn: Part 2 has the potential to be a little ... icky. I mean, the concept of Jacob choosing Renesmee as his soul mate -- hang on, make that young adult Jacob choosing baby Renesmee as his soul mate -- is sketchy enough to wrap your head around in Stephenie Meyer's book. But when you're reading a scene as opposed to watching a scene, you get to kind of direct it in your head (so maybe you don't really picture Jacob gazing longingly at a little girl, maybe you visualize some fleeting spiritual moment that's just sort of implied and therefore not weird or gross at all).
Even Taylor Lautner was apparently a bit worried at first about looking like the typical sleazy older werewolf, but he got over his hang-up after speaking with Meyer and re-reading the book.
Unfortunately we can't say the same for some of his castmates ...
"The first scene I saw them together, I literally could not stop laughing. I wouldn’t have been able to do it," said Robert Pattinson, who apparently "can't wait" until TLaut has to go on live TV (he hopes his pal will be grilled about his "taste in women").
“Everyone thinks it’s so funny, and I laugh along with them, but it’s important for me to keep in my mind that it’s as simple as a lifelong bond," insists Lautner. "It’s not nearly as creepy as everybody likes to joke."
Um, sure. Whatever you say, dude. We still think you're cute.

No, I just say Breaking Dawn Part 1 last week(did NOT like it, so slow) and I just took it as him trying to keep Renesmee safe. I didn't read the books though and also couldn't get over how sickly Kristen Stewart looked. I sincerely hope a lot of that was some how done with computer.
Well, read all the books in 4 days and watched the movies..it is NOT creepy if you really new what it meant! it is a life long bond and a protection from Jacob. Everything with them would be done in life steps..just like friends who grow up to fall in love....renesme will grow very fast and will reach Jacobs age very fast!
And @CPN322..alot of it is not real..I watched the "how they did it" at the end of the DVD..Some of what we see of Bella is like a wax figure of her...it is actually very interesting to see how it was all done.
NO , not creepy! You have to READ the books to understand imprinting!!!
But while lots of aspects of the story were creepy to me, this was not one of them.
