'Real Housewives of New Jersey' Recap: Teresa Giudice & Joe Gorga Get Excellent Advice in Therapy

Teresa Giudice and Joe GorgaAfter much "I-don't-need-therapy" hemming and heel-dragging hawing, we finally saw Teresa Giudice and her brother Joe Gorga head to therapy on tonight's episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Both were certain the other was the one who needed fixing ("I'm an angel from God," Joe Gorga proclaimed), but at least they went. While there they mostly got a bunch of pretty mundane advice, like forget the past and walk away from conflict, but there was also one vital prescription given: Don't share an RV for the upcoming road trip to Napa Valley.

Why in the hell Teresa and Juicy Joe would even think of going on this trip arranged by Jacqueline Laurita and her husband, Chris, is beyond reason. They just had a HUGE blow-up. Caroline Manzo told her she's finished with her; Jacqueline told her to f*ck off last week; and she's on some pretty shaky ground with the rest of the crew. Still she wants to travel across the U.S. and go sip wine with everyone. Is she crazy?

Well yes, yes, she clearly is ... and delusional to boot. Talk about going where you're not wanted and asking for trouble. When Teresa asked Joe Gorga if he'd like to share an RV for the trip, Dr. Michael almost lost his mind at the very thought (even more so than when Teresa said she's not a "grudge-holder", then proceeded to tell the good doctor about all of her grudges) ... and he'd only been with them for less than an hour.

"Don't!" "Do NOT!" he cautioned them, but Teresa just laughed him off and said they should prove him wrong. The doctor looked like he was going to be sick at the thought, and so did Joe. I can't imagine Melissa Gorga allowing it to happen, but oh what a ride it will be if it does. Giudices + Gorgas + wine in an eight-foot metal box on wheels = mad drama and some serious damage waiting to happen.

In the end, Teresa and Joe left therapy determined to put the past behind them, which they did ... for about two seconds. They didn't even make it out of the building before they started bickering over their parents, where they're going to live, and a tabloid report saying Teresa was building them an apartment at her place.

Teresa once again denied anything to do with tabloid reports, and even implied that it was probably Jacqueline who gave them the story. The thing is that every tabloid story out there as of late has been suspiciously sounding like Teresa, and she even pretty much admitted that she sells stories to them a few weeks back. But in typical Teresa fashion, she just keeps denying everything so vehemently that it seems like she may even believe it's true.

I don't know if that's the end of therapy for Joe and Teresa, but it seems pretty fruitless. They say you can't argue with crazy for a reason. As for the Napa trip, brace yourselves. It's going to be a bumpy ride no matter who shares an RV.

Do you think therapy will help Teresa Giudice and her brother Joe Gorga? Do you think them sharing an RV during the Napa trip is a good idea?

I think that Teresa is either delusional or just plain ignorant.  I do not believe that I have ever seen or met anyone who can spin a story as she does.  The fact that she truly believes that she has done nothing wrong suggests that Joe and his family should stay as far away from her as possible.

Teresa need her own Therapy Team. Or how about a Life Style Coach? 24-7 help to stop her from saying the nasty stuff that comes out of her mouth. I was disappointed on how she was quick to throw Kathy under the bus with Rosie, just to make herself look good! Last week she is with Kathy trying to get back into her life, then this week she is talking crap about her. I sure do hope the therapist is watching the show! Casue what she says and what she does are not the same- cookoo alert!

I can't stand Teresa, never could.  Her brother is hot, and love his wife.  Don't exactly agree that he's an angel from God, but he seems at least less in denial than Teresa.

I thought, when they said they were going to therapy, that meant they were going to attend weeky sessions for an extended length of time. "Putting the past behind them" isn't going to work. They need to delve deep in to what happened in the past in order to truly move forward.

First of all Teresa "doesn't believe in therapy", so right there tells you she's not going to take it seriously.

I agree with Rosemary when she said "was disappointed on how she was quick to throw Kathy under the bus with Rosie, just to make herself look good! Last week she is with Kathy trying to get back into her life, then this week she is talking crap about her. I sure do hope the therapist is watching the show!"  Teresa is delusional! No one wants her along on the trip! Rosie said it all when she said that her "other" family has written her off so now she is back to making nicey nice with her real family. They will see that she will throw them all under the bus in one way or another.
