I would totally have a family plot if I had the money. You don't HAVE to go there if you choose not to. But why wouldn't you want to be placed next to your loved ones? Most want to be placed next to their husband right? If you lose a child while you are still living don't you want to be next to them in death? Kardashians so not my thing. I have never sat through an episode, only know them from the internet every every day, but this doesn't seem so wacky to me.
Why is that creepy? It sounds responsible to me. Loved ones can't tell you their wishes after they're dead.
Anyone who has ever lost a loved one unexpectedly will tell you that either they were glad they had done something like this, or they wish that they had.
my family has a plot. my grandparents bought thier own when they preplanned thier funerals and they purchased two more on either side for a total of 6 (one for each child + spouse). my aunt opted out to be buried where she lives in another state (and purchased 6 as well for the same reason), so the extra spots were "gifted" to me & my siblings after my parents divorce. yes, its morbid- but isnt one less decision to be made at that difficult time a good thing? if we dont use them, i'm sure we'll end up selling them one day.. but its there if need be for now.
