All of Hollywood is buzzing about who will be cast as Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the forthcoming flick version of Fifty Shades. Everyone has an opinion of who should play the sexy leads. But Giuliana Rancic is one celeb whose take I'm definitely interested in hearing. After all, the E! host makes her living by being plugged into who's hot.
Of who should play Ana and Christian on-screen, Giuliana said, "It's a no brainer. It's who I have envisioned in my head this entire time ... Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth!"
Well, Kristen's a given, considering that E.L. James was inspired by Twilight, so I totally get that. But Chris instead of Robert Pattinson? He is so much more my cup of tea! Hello, gorgeous! Still, although Giuliana's preferred pairing star together in this summer's Snow White & the Huntsman -- it's all wrong. They don't have what the ultimate leading man and woman are going to need to pull off the coveted roles ...
Insane, off-the-charts, hot and horny CHEMISTRY!
We all know Kristen and Rob took their Twilight love off-screen almost immediately and are now desperately in love and possibly even semi- or almost engaged. And total bummer, ladies, but Chris is happily married to Spanish stunner Elsa Pataky, and they had their first baby in May. So, it's no real surprise that the two of them couldn't scrap together a measly sparkler of a firework between 'em in SWATH.

I know, I know. It's actors' job to make us believe they want one another, even when they're doting hubbies and wives to someone other than their co-star. But that doesn't change the fact that most of the hottest on-screen pairings have been people who were actually into one another -- like Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams (sigh ... the Holy Grail example of this in The Notebook), Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield, Channing Tatum and now wife Jenna Dewan (in Step Up), Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds ... And no matter how you feel about what poor Jen Aniston was doing when it was filmed, you need only watch five minutes of Mr. & Mrs. Smith to see sparks flying between the future Mr. & Mrs. Jolie-Pitt.
In other words, if the producers want the Fifty Shades film to ring true, casting is going to have to be based on some seriously genuine sexual tension. Either hire a celeb couple who are completely in love (hey, many of us have been saying all along it should be Kristen and Rob!) or get singles/unknowns who are destined to fall for one another (like Kristen and Rob did). It's the best way for Ana and Christian's steamy romance to truly come to life. And, of course, for the sex scenes to be totally off-the-charts rockin'.

Do you agree a real-life couple should be cast as Ana and Christian or at least that the actor and actress who land the roles must have a major spark between them?

I have to tell you that I'm not a fan of Kristen and would prefer her not to be in the movie but she might be perfect for the role. I think Rob P. is a great actor but personally don't feel he is hot enough to play the part of Christian Grey.
I'm totally team Tataum but Channing is to akward to play Chirstian.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds gets my vote. Ryan Reynolds is SO hot and I hadn't even considered him. *drool* If they do cast Kristen Stewart in as Ana I can pretty much guarentee I won't be seeing the movie- she is incrediably boring and I don't think she could be Ana.
Bella may have been the inspiration for Ana, but i'm guessing it's not the Kristen Stewart Bella. She runined it as far as i'm concerned. Robert Pattinson couldn't pull off the intensity of Christian, as much as I like him. I'm thinking Ian Somerholder or Matt Bomer could do it. I still haven't found an Ana.
I'm a huge Channing Tatum fan. I would love to see him as Christian.
I definitely agree with Chris Hemsworth as Chrisitian but not Kristen Stewart. Maybe Anne Hathaway. As much as I love Kristen Stewart's characters I feel like Anna has a certain confidence about her that I think Kristen doesn't come across with on screen. I like Anne Hathaway all the way!
The perfect Christian Grey is Derek Theler!!!
