Being paid to live at the beach all summer & party is definitely about the most cush job ever, especially considering just how much money the Jersey Shore cast members make. And while none of their salaries per episode are anything to shake a stick at -- Snooki, The Situation, and Pauly D are pulling in a lot more dough than the rest of the crew.
At a whopping $150,000 per episode (can you even imagine?!) -- these three stand to make about $2 million this season. Good grief. Getting paid $2 million to live it up like a college kid for a few months each year? Sign me up!
And as for the rest of the cast members salaries, JWoww pulls in $100K, Vinny takes home $90K per episode, Ronnie & Sam make $80K, and Deena only pulls in $40K (which is not exactly chump change). At first glance, the pay scale differences seem kind of unbalanced.
But after thinking about just how much Snooki, The Situation, and Pauly D have expanded the entire Jersey Shore brand, it totally makes sense that they have bigger bank accounts. They should be paid more -- because the show just wouldn't be the same without them.
When you hear the words Jersey Shore, who immediately pops into your head? Lemme guess -- it's one of those three people, not the rest of the crew, right? And can you imagine how much different the show would be if one of them weren't part of the cast? It wouldn't be anywhere near as entertaining, that's for sure. Vinny, JWoww, Sam & Ronnie, and Deena are still interesting to watch -- but there's no way they could carry a whole show on their own.
Do you think Snooki, The Situation, and Pauly D deserve the high salaries they earn?
