Rumors have been swirling that Real Housewives of Orange County stars Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley are headed to splitsville in a hurry. We've seen the signs of trouble in paradise on this season of RHWOC, but a source told Radar Online that things have only gotten worse.
Not so surprisingly, it's all about the money. The source told the site: "She is supporting him and helping to pay his legal bills and it’s getting to be too much for her. Gretchen is seriously considering ending the relationship because she’s sick of doing everything for Slade."
I don't blame her either, and wonder why it's taken her so long to get to this point. It's not very romantic to put money ahead of love (and I do believe she loves him), but she's worked hard for her money, and she shouldn't have to take on that much debt and risk when starting a new life with someone. It's just not smart and would surely be hard on their relationship in the long run. She's given him plenty of chances and voiced her concerns, but he still doesn't seem to be doing much about it.

There's nothing wrong with Slimey Smiley, or I should say nothing that would get in the way of him working. So why isn't he? Oh, he supports Gretchen and carries her bags or whatever he does, but there's no reason he shouldn't have his own gig -- and one that pays. Lack of ambition in a man is a major turn off, and really, the bottom line is: She's way too good for him any way you slice it.
Gretchen denied the rumors of a rocky romance via Twitter: "For those of you that are asking, the press stories about Slade & I aren't true! We are happy and still together!" But that doesn't all that convincing now, does it? Here's a clip from next week's show that highlights the big issues at hand.
Them aside, can you imagine how great their breakup would be for the show? Oh, there'd be the initial wallowing and whining post breakup, but then we'd have a wild, single and free Gretchen Rossi in the house. How much fun would it be to watch her enter the dating scene again? I can't think of a better way to up the excitement factor on the show, which frankly has grown a little stale this season.

I don't know why she got with him in the first place when she knew his history. Ugh he turns me off so much. He does not even clean up good. She could do much better on her own. Gretchen...you are cheapening yourself staying with him....he is a con artist...and not even a good one. He is hanging around to stay on the show....hi is a LOOSER............................
While I don't disagree with some prior comments, Gretchen has shown that she was/is not above doing a little gold digging herself. The problem issue I have is that at least Gretchen is trying to find ways to make money and seems somewhat successful. Poor Slade is still trying to find someone to help him get his "star" back. The small amount of fame he got from the reality TV shows actually ruined his life much like it has for the Teen Moms, The Hills and so on, he is addicted to the fame/camera and can't see himself going back to the "real world". Unless something dramatic happens I think it will eventually just end badly for him.

I USED TO WORK FOR CHILD SUPPORT AND IF I WAS THE CASE MANANGER ON HIS CASE I WOULD OF ALREADY ISSUES A BENCH WARRENT AND THROW HIS LAZY ASS IN JAIL AND MADE SURE THE JUDGE WOULD NOT REALEASE HIM UNTIL HE PUT UP THE MAXIMUN ALLOWED BY LAW IN THE sTATE OF cALIFORNIA AND IF STILL DID NOT MAKE A PAYMENT i WILL ISSUE ANOTHE BENCH WARRENT AND AGAIN AND AGIN UNITL HE GOT THE MSG TO START MAKING REGULAR PAYMENT WHAT HE IS TRYING TO DO IS NOT WORK FOR AT LEAST TWO TO THREE YEARS SO WHEN HE DOES GO BACK TO COURT HE CAN SHOW THE JUDGE HE IS NOTCAPUBLEOF MAKING THE ANOUNT OF MONEY HE USED TO MAKE BECAUSE IF HE WAS TAKEN BACK TO COURT SAY A YEAR OR TWO FROM THE LAST COURT ORDER AND HE QUIT HIS JOB OR WHAT EVER REASON THE COURT WOULD IMPUT HIS INCOME. IF I WAS THAT WOMAN I WOULD GET A HOLD OF CHILD SUPPORT AND PUT HIM IN JAIL AND IF I WAS GRECHEN I WOULD NOT PAY ONE CENT OF HIS BACK SUPPORT AND THAT GOES FOR VICKIE AS WELL. THOSE DUMMIES ARE NOT REALIZING WHAT THEY ARE DOING THEY ARE PAYING FOR SEX AND COMPANIONSHIP IT JUSTAS BAD AS CALLING UP A CALL SERVICE AND PAYING FOR IT BUT YOU TWO WON'T LISTEN CAUSE YOU IN LLLLOOOOOVVVEEEE.
