'16 and Pregnant' Finale Special Recap: Kristina Is Moving WAY Too Fast

and i just have to throw in there to all of those teens that are currently pregnant the writer of this article knows nothing when it comes to the you can count on one think and thats that your gonna be a single parent while most relationships that result in a teen pregnancy do not work out there are plenty of fathers out there that stick by the child and continue to be there even if it doesnt work out with the mother and there are those few that actually do make it in all honesty relationships are work no matter how old you are and it doesnt get any easier as it goes there are couples that have been together for 30 years that are still working everyday on their relationship its not about how perfect a relationship is cause if thats what your lookin for its not gonna happen if you love someone and i mean truely love some one then you fight for ur relationship and you stick it out no matter what and babies dont make it any easier most of the time it actually makes it harder but again if you truely love someone you stick it out and fight no matter what to the author of this article you have no right to pass judgement on this girl or any other teen mom for that fact as a teen mom myself im am offened as well about the things you have said the show isnt meant to have these girls judged or hated on it is intended to inform teens the struggles that are faced when you get pregnant no matter what age you are honestly the root point is to help prevent teen pregnancy

sorry one last thing lol as a teen mom and age 22 with three children i have to save PRO LIFE i think abortion is murder no matter how you look at it unless the baby or mother is not going to survive or for other MEDICAL reasons i believe it should be illegal if your grown enough to have sex be grown enough to at least give the child to a family that cant have children that is an innocent life you are taking and thats ungodly

 

,I am commenting on this article, not the question about kristina. I wanna know who are you to say that a young girl should get rid of her child because she's "too young" to have a child? I am a 21 yr old mother. I had my son at 19 and yes I am now single but that's because my sons father tried to kill me. I am doing perfectly fine being a single mother. My son is well taken care of, I have a full time job and I'm in school getting my associates degree. I know a few girls that had kids younger than I did and they are on a great track too taking care of their kids nd in college. I don't think you should tell girls that they should "get rid" of their babies. You have no right to say that to or about young mothers. I understand that's your opinion but I 100% believe that not everyone is a statistic and its wrong for you to think the every young mother is. Yes my son has nightmares about watching what his dad did to me but other than that he is healthy and taken care of. And to be honest if I had waited to have my son I probably would have been married to his dad, which would have been worse and I probably never would have went to college because the only reason I ever filled out applications was because I wanted to better myself for my son but I believe that if I would have been other I never would have even thought about college. I am a young mother and I'm also ambitious and goal oriented. Don't judge people if you don't really know them..

The words educated, driven and ambitious have never equalled the word celibate. Every guy who tried to take my virginity growing up was educated, driven and ambitious and so were the girls that said yes to their lines. As long as sex still includes eggs and sperm it will also include unplanned pregnancies. And pregnancy will still be as emotional and scary and hormonal and spiritual as it is when planned at 28. Saying you know how the young ladies you know would handle that situation was ignorant and arrogant at best. It was also potentially very hurtful to the girls and the families of people you know who may find themselves in that position one day. Maybe the biggest lesson you should take from watching a show like 16 and Pregnant is that there is a big world outside your judgemental yet completely protected little bubble. Perhaps you could find a young lady who is lacking the traits you see in your world and take her on your daily gym visits for some sweating and mentoring. I assure you it would do far more good than this ridiculously pompous blog post ever will.

You must live in a town that still thinks we're in the stone age then. 28 is NOT young to have a baby, and while you may be better prepared financially to have a child (and you also may not be), teen mothers can be just as good (or better), than older mothers. I had my son at only 16, I kept him and we are doing GREAT! I also know many teen girls who kept their babies, and almost every single one I know is fabulous. At least, after being a teen mom, I won't push my "opinion" (which yes, I think yours is complete crap), on my child! I would much rather see a girl have her child and raise him/her then to have an abortion.

I would not be on one of these programs  to begin with ,  tacky choice to getting engaged so soon yeah but we do not live in her shoes don't judge 

well since he died when she was 3 months pregnate and there is a delay between when the episodes are filmed and when they are aired and then a delay between the filming of the recap show and its airing i would say we are talking about more than just a couple months and more like a year. and yes i think it is perfectly fine and healthy that she is moving on AS LONG AS HE LOVES HER!!!! if he is good to her and her son who is to judge? when you find love why stall? my husband dated for two months before we were engaged. And we got married 5 months after we met. We have been married for 5 years now and are still extreamly happy! sometime you just know! I would like to also point out that i had two children from a previous relationship that he adopted and we have a child of our own. granted we were a few years older but does that really matter? this girl seems very grown up to me and i think that no one should judge a person getting married so quickly only because she is young and her boyfriend had passed away a year before. also i dont care for the wording of the author when she maliciously says "KNOCKED UP" probably every teen mom on these shows has had less sex than the author herself so i would say they accidently got pregnate. knocked up should refere to a careless 30 yr old that had a one night stand with a guy she met in a bar. just saying!

Wow. Judgemental much? You say you only know smart and ambitious girls who would get rid of it. Sounds like u dont know any younger mothers. So, how can u judge something that u have no personal experience with? Let me drop my story. I met my HUSBAND at 15. We wound up preggo and had our son when i was 18. Im now 25, weve been married for 6 years and have 3 children. Were not living in poverty, were not getting government handouts, and were making our own way living a really good life. Dont group all young mothers into one category. Also, dont insult all the dads that do stick around by implying that they r no good. Ur a real jerk.

I just wonder why the editors at cafemom would assign an author to write "recaps" of this show when it's clearly just a facade and a way for her to turn every single article into an argument for abortion. We get it, you don't think anyone doing anything different from you is a good thing and you LOVE abortion. Let's agree to disagree.
