Britney Spears Already Needs a Break From the 'X-Factor' Pressure (VIDEO)

Eye Roll 3

britney spears"Oops, she did it again" has to be one of the most overused phrases out there, but when it comes to Britney Spears, it seems to sum up pretty much every situation she's involved in. Soooo -- what did she do this time? Apparently she walked off the X-Factor set right smack dab in the middle of Texas auditions. And considering it was only the first day of filming, it seems a bit early to be cracking under the pressure -- even for Britney.

Supposedly she got all bent out of shape when a contestant didn't exactly impress her by singing her song, "Hold It Against Me", and that's when she stormed off. But according to an update she posted to her Twitter account later that day, she was just "taking a little break." Yeah -- ok. (Whatever you say, Brit.)

I guess we can't really be sure why Britney got up and walked off the set, but it does kind of make sense that she would be emotional over someone failing miserably to sing her song. Being chosen as an X-Factor judge shows she's on the verge of a major career comeback, so it's understandable that she would want to see her songs done justice.

And there's also a possibility that she thought the person was mocking the song (and her) on purpose. Let's be honest -- not everyone has warmed up to the idea of Britney calling the shots on who has talent and who doesn't. Supposedly the crowd even booed her after she gave good feedback to a contestant who they thought hadn't done well at all. She's a pretty vulnerable soul, and it doesn't take too much to rattle her cage and hurt her feelings.

Whatever the case for her little "break" from the action, hopefully Britney will be able to pull it together and prove she has what it takes to be a good judge instead of overreacting and making herself look like a total diva.

You can hear more about Brit's first day on the job in the video clip below.

Do you think Britney will make it through the entire season without a meltdown?
