Wow, well that was a lot of drama packed into one hour. The season seven premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians opened strong tonight, and took us right into the heart of some of the burning questions at hand (And by burning I mean those that we have we're not thinking about other worldly, important events that really matter, of course.). The only problem was it provided few real answers.
Poor Bruce Jenner was the feeling for much of the show, as he was completely being ignored in his own home, even more so than usual. After Kris Jenner chewed him out and took away the chips he was eating on their new couch, he actually did leave her, but without much conviction.
Oh he professed to be angry and he stomped off to Khloe and Lamar's house to see if anyone would miss him as an experiment, but I think it's impossible for that man to get really angry. Or maybe it's just the plastic surgery that makes it hard to believe he's really angry?

In any case, Kris didn't miss him at all. When he showed up two days later and he told her he'd been gone, she just laughed and blamed everything on him. The woman is cold, really, and I think Bruce was right when he said he'd been sent from heaven for her, because not many men would put up with that.
However, despite this little blowup, I think their arrangement works pretty well for them, and at least tonight Bruce showed some hint of balls. While they may tease the issue more on the show, after 21 years together and that many children, they've definitely got a bond, and I think if anyone ever does any leaving it will be Kris leaving Bruce, and not the other way around.
The other pressing question tonight was if Khloe Kardashian would take a DNA test, which continued right from where we left off at the finale of Khloe & Lamar. Bossy and overbearing as ever, Kris Jenner swindled the whole family into getting swabbed for testing without telling Khloe (or Bruce for that matter), then ambushed Khloe at a family dinner with a doctor ready to take her sample.
Khloe refused, and Kris got angry and starting cussing (in front of the adorable Mason Disick, nonetheless), and got all sorts of dramatic. Khloe, however, stood her ground, and for once Kris Jenner didn't get her way.
No matter how much Khloe says the test results don't matter to her and that she's over the issue, I think she's lying to herself. I think until she does the testing she and her entire family will always have some question as to who Khloe's biological father is. But if she doesn't want to know, then that's her choice, and I'm glad she didn't let her mom push her to do it. She can if and when she's ready, and if Kris Jenner doesn't like it, well, then she shouldn't have slept around when she was married.
Overall, the season is off to a strong start, and I can't wait to see what next week brings ... you know, as long as I don't have other worldly, important events to which I need to tend.
What did you think of the season premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians? Do you think Kris and Bruce will stay together long term? Were you glad Khloe didn't get the DNA test?
