Tonight’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County covered a lot of territory. From surgery to a birthday party, engagement ring shopping to an all-out mother-daughter brawl, a whole heck of a lot happened in the O.C.
There were no major gatherings or awkwardly concocted events that brought all of the Housewives together for a change, but each one brought a little of their own drama, which in Housewives terms means -- some crazy sh*t went down. Here are five of the most outrageous moments from the night.
1. Alexis Bellino’s Party for Her Twins
Well I guess she proved that she can do it all -- which was her self-declared mission in throwing the elaborate puppies and princesses party for her 4-year-old twins. She proved she could spend a lot of money, get other people to do everything for her, then proceed to make the party all about her.
The speech she made before her twins descended the staircase for their grand entrance was just embarrassing. She started by telling a room of toddlers how she almost DIED while she delivered them, then went on to recount the medical details of her pulmonary embolism, including all of the drugs she had to take. “ ... and that’s what today’s all about,” she concluded. The horse-drawn Cinderella carriage ride at the end of the party ... just left me speechless.

2. Slade Smiley Shopping for a Ring
There he was at the fancy jewelry shop, looking for a ring for Gretchen Rossi. Even though he asked her father for her hand in marriage and he said NO, Slade still wanted to get a ring, and asked Heather Dubrow to help him pick one. I thought she might die when he asked if they could put an imitation stone in the center for now, so he could save up the money for the real bling. The answer was no, by the way.
Slade has grown on me lately, but the dude still has massive debt and no real job. Just say no, Gretchen.
3. Tamara Barney’s Simon-Free Finger
Getting Simon’s name off of her finger was a great move for closure ... and to get Eddie to put a ring on it. When she asked him over dinner if he’d propose if she got it done, then whipped out her gnarly, stitched-up finger, I thought Eddie might pass out. He recovered nicely by saying it gave him a boner, but Tamra killed that quickly by repeatedly reminding him that she’s five years older than him and has four kids. Shhhh, maybe he hadn't noticed yet.
4. Briana Taking on Vicki Gunvalson
Briana Wolfsmith has balls, that’s for sure, and she isn’t afraid to stand up to her mother. She told her flat out that she thinks Brooks Ayers is an opportunist, and shot her mom down when she kept trying to compare her and Brooks to Ryan and Briana. It's SO not the same thing.
5. Heather Dubrow’s Insane House
She has a monogrammed floor. ‘Nuff said.

I love that Brianna told Vicki the truth, so vicki had an amotional connection to Brooks for a long time, I sthis why she treated Donn like crap all the time? I think Brooks is strange, for sure, and I agree that he seems to be after Vicki maybe for the wrong reasons, But if vicki keeps acting like she did tonight with her daughter, she will not have much of a relasionship with her for long.
I wont even waist much time on Alexis and her daughters b-day party, other than to say, get over yourself, than to beg that husband of hers for 1 more child, PLEASE!
It is so icky to realize that Vicki's daughter has known for years that Vicki was getting involved with Brooks long before she separated from Donn. No wonder she was lonely in her marriage - it was a total sham for her. All those false tears about "God doesn't like divorce" while she is creating a relationship outside her marriage. I'm more disgusted than ever with Vicki and so sorry for Brianna having to be the grown-up in the house.
I'm sick sick of hearing Vicki scream at people. It's amazing that Brianna is as normal and sane as she is. BTW, I heard today that Brianna is 4 mos pregnant. Congrats to her and her husband.
Vicki is so judgemental!! She judges everyone and acts like she takes the MORAL highground and then we find out she is just full of S&*! I am ready for her to leave the show!!
Alexis is just batsh*$ crazy....lol.
Alexis took a cute party and turned it all about her, did you really expect anything different?
Tamara seems like she is much happier with Eddie then she was with Simon, but she still has a lot to work through before she gets married or even engaged. I think she needs to focus on the good things she has and let eddie get to know her kids, if she is that deeply involved she needs to let go of her hang ups.
And Briana is AWESOME! I love the way she called her mom out and didn't allow her to control the conversation, honestly I am not suprised to hear that she had an "emotional affair". I am suprised that she allowed it to be filmed. But to sit there and tell her daughter that it may take years to get divorced and she should be free to do what she wants and this was over spousal support, which Vicky thinks he doesn't deserve, honestly I think he does he had to deal with her, go back and watch some of these past seasons of RHOC b/c there were plenty of times she didn't give a rats ass about her hubby, only work and her travel schedule.
And to hang out in someone's bathroom no matter how fancy and big is WEIRD.
She's a kick ass in a screaming contest. I know Vicki's sponge is happy that Vicki's daughter ran off and got married...More money for his pockets....For once she wants to be happy, she was blessed with 2 children , that didn't make her happy. Waite when she finds out the truth about her lover boy who fills her tank lol
Vicki is an obnoxious pompous b*tch! Good for Brianna putting her in her place! Frankly with someone like that sometimes you just have to cut them
Off for a bit just to show them the world doesn't revolve around them.
