'50 Shades of Grey' in 15 Naughty Quotes

by Jeanne Sager on May 17, 2012 at 3:43 PM

Fifty Shades of GreyE.L. James may be stunned by how popular her Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy is, but let's face it. If you haven't read at least one of the three books, one of your friends has. And everywhere you go, someone is talking about it ... or more likely quoting some naughty bit Christian Grey whispered in the ear of his lover Anastasia Steele.

Stop rolling your eyes. You don't even have to be Team Fifty to admit that some of this stuff is hot with a capital H.O.T. And if you're still biting your lip and doubting it over there, let me clear it up for you.

We have gathered up 15 of sexiest and sweetest quotes from the summer read of 2012, and we've got them all hear for you. Maybe you want to pin them on Pinterest (The Stir has its own Fifty Shades board ... check us out!), or you just want to slip them into conversation so people think you know what you're talking about. Either way, we've got you covered.

Let the sexy talk begin!

What is your favorite Fifty Shades of Grey quote?

I really don't get the allure of the book. I have hardly been able to get through the first half...

I have a couple of friends who adored these books... I swear I tried to read them, but found the bits that I read far more creepy than sexy.  Just not for me, I guess!

These quotes aren't sexy, they're actually kind of comical!

great quotes you picked Jeanne!  I've read all 3 books twice.... I am team Christian all the way. He's set the bar high for men everywhere! He's dark and exciting and intense....and in spite of himself, romantic as hell! Oh, and he has his own Charlie Tango.... =)

This book is overhyped trash. The author knows NOTHING about BDSM and couldn't write her way out of a paper bag. (oh my! Holy crap! My inner goddess! Oh my! Holy crap!) There are Harlequin romance novels out there with better characters and sexier sex scenes. And how can you be "Team Christian?" I though the whole "Team So-and-So" thing (in addition to being something for 14-year-old girls to say) applied when there are two or more romantic interests. There's only one love interest in FSOG, and he's a control freak with Mommy Issues. Pass.

cheesetastic. Word to the wise- there is kinky erotica out there that is intelligently written, psychologically engaging and downright filthly. This is not it. Try the Sleeping Beauty Series by Anne Rice or just google high quality kinky erotica.

Just off of reading these quotes and knowing that the book started off as fan fiction of Twilight I definitely have no intention of reading it lol.

Of course these 3 books are not for the hard core BDSM group, but they have _really_ introduced the Vanilla group to expand their experience's to "light" BDSM. If your into expanding your Vanilla sex life, these books will give ya a good start....try it, you'll never believe where it may go ;-) Worked for us !! So much fun and role play..... !!!
