I wouldn't describe myself as a fan of Justin Bieber's music, however I think he's a decent kid. And now he makes a class-A move by releasing his latest single, "Turn To You," which is about his mother, just in time for Mother's Day. Aww. What a good son! I bet Pattie has a sticker on her car, something like, "My Son Graduated Superstardom Today!"
The ode to his mama, Pattie Mallette, is about her struggle to raise Justin as a teenage mother. Sings The Biebs:
You worked two jobs to keep a roof up over our heads/ You chose life for me, no you never gave up/ I admire you for the strength you instilled in me/ You were so young, you were just my age when you had me/ Mom, you were so brave, there was nothing that would stop or get in our way/ And I know you will always be there for me.
Mallette was just 18 when she birthed the future crooner. As Biebs says, she "chose life" for him. Hmmm. Okaaaay. Me sensing a little pro-lifey thing going on here. I hope this doesn't give teen girls out there any ideas, because the odds of their kids growing up to be a Justin Bieber clone are not very good. Just sayin'.
Bieber will be donating the profits from the song to London, Ontario's The Bethesda Centre, which offers housing and counseling to teen mothers. Bieber's mom once turned to them for help. The Centre plans to close May 31 unless it raises $1.5 million. So, that's a lot of downloads The Biebs needs to sell. But I have no doubt his fans will help with that.
The only problem with all of this is that it makes those of us merely sending flowers to Mom look a little lame.
Take a listen. (I tried to, but ... yeah. Not my thing.)
Do you like Justin's new song? Is it the ultimate Mother's Day gift?

The stir-writers sure do seem to have a hard on for killing babies... which doesn't make sense being a site for mom's and all. Just does not compute. Way to take something beautiful and turn it ugly. Don't even need to listen to the song..
Epic FAIL sweetheart.
I am sorry your "articles" are just awful. How can you objectively write an article about a song you admit you did not even listen to?
