Everyone take a step forward if you think that The Bachelor is more about finding fame than about "finding love." Not so fast, Jesse Csincsac. The season four winner apparently is the only one left on the planet who buys into the lie that the ABC reality show is truly about finding a husband or a wife. He told Celebuzz that all the guys should "run as far as they can" from the new Bachelorette Emily Maynard because she's only in it for the money, and isn't in it for the looooooove.
Jesse. My man. Do you honestly think that people really go on a trashy reality show to meet their soul mate? Dude.
Here's what Jesse said:
Emily just went on TV six months ago and said, ‘I hate the limelight. I hate the cameras.’ Then, ABC hands her a check for $250,000 to star in the new season, so she has changed her tune. She isn’t looking for love. Emily is going to come there and say what she’s paid to say.
To which I, and the rest of the reality show viewers respond, uh no doi, Jesse.

No shit Emily's in it for the money. Everyone's in it for the money. I don't know too many well-adjusted adult men who've thought that going on the Bachelorette was like, a viable option to find a girlfriend. I would hope that anyone who chooses to go on that show is doing it for fame and a measly fortune because otherwise it's just, well, sad.
That isn't to say I won't watch as they all declare to Emily that they're "there for the right reasons" or that they're "just looking for a girl to settle down with" or that they "fell in love with her last season" ... because I most certainly will be watching. I can't resist. The faux drama, the way that Emily's able to talk without actually moving her mouth, it's all so bizarrely captivating.
I suppose Jesse thinks he's "telling it like it is" and doing a service "warning" the contestants et all that Emily is only after the cash, but I would be shocked to learn if anyone finds this bit of "information" a surprise. No one cares that there's no love. All we want is some awesome, exotic dates, and pretty people fighting. And it all starts May 14.
Do you think that Jesse's the only one left that thinks people are actually trying to find love on the Bachelor/Bachelorette?

OMG Is that really true? a check for $250,000.00. PLEASE give it to me, lmao.. I keep sending message to the producers askin them to make it a Real REALITY show and, give a shot to a 40 something, not a size 0 but not large either woman a shot at a fantasy romance. Of course they will not respond, liek I expected them too..lol Please do it jsut once...
"pretty people fighting."
Lol that cracked me up!
Money and vacations are nice for sure, I think maybe staying home and being a mother might be more important than a fake Emily coming back for more screen time!
