Demi, Miley, Fergie? Nah! 'X-Factor' Needs Someone Else Entirely

There's a neck-n-neck race going on over at The X-Factor to fill the fourth and last judge's seat. Simon Cowell is close to signing up Britney Spears for one place. And now in the running for the last spot are Demi Lovato (rumored favorite), Miley Cyrus, Fergie, LeAnn Rimes, and Avril Lavigne. Woah. That's so much diva power in one sentence that you could light up the Grammys with it.

And yet The X-Factor doesn't need any of them. In fact, they're all a big fat waste of money. Here's why ...

While each of these ladies could bring their own fan base to the show -- with Miley and Demi skewing younger and Fergie/Avril/LeAnn skewing a bit older -- people don't really watch a talent competition for the judges. At the end of the day, we need to feel invested in who is going to WIN.

What X-Factor needs isn't Demi Lovato but Susan Boyle! It was Susan who shot Britain's Got Talent to worldwide fame, resulting in a spinoff Stateside. Hell, if you ask me, Piers Morgan can thank Susan for his CNN show. Hey, SiCow, what about bringing Susan on as a judge? No, you don't have to pay me for the idea. Wait, yes. Yes, you do.

That said, of the five divas supposedly vying for the judgeship, Demi has the most loyal fan base. And she and Miley have the most tell-it-like-it-is personalities -- which the show might need along with soft-spoken Britney, who will probably just coo at everyone.

But really what the show needs is not an already-famous star. It needs a star that the public makes a star. It needs our version of Susan Boyle. Find that, and save yourself $15 million, Simon. You can thank me later.

Would Demi, Miley, Fergie, LeAnn, or Avril make you watch The X-Factor?

A result of the immense size and strength that these animals can grow to means pets should

be leash trained from a young age. Another tip is to start with the

basic skills. It is wise to take the classical conditioning method first because it is easier

to do.
