As far as I'm concerned, Jennifer Love Hewitt can do no wrong lately. I'm not talking about her choices as an actress, because, well, to be honest, I haven't seen her in anything since those I Know What You Did Last Summer movies, but as a celebrity who continuously attracts public attention for mostly inconsequential things, JLH is downright adorable.

I love her bemused reaction to having her image digitally altered for The Client List ads ("I'm not quite sure what's going on, but apparently somebody wanted me to have a boob reduction"), I love the charmingly natural self-portrait she tweeted recently, and I love that she says she attracts men by dabbing vanilla extract on her neck. She's just so darn CUTE, you guys.

Maybe you heard about how Jennifer Love Hewitt confessed to crushing on Adam Levine a while back? I don't know if it became news because she talked about it on Ellen or what, but the story picked up speed to the point where Levine actually commented on it, saying that he was "flattered," but also that her gesture was "aggressive."

He also said it was "really sweet," but the whole thing somehow got spun into Adam Levine Disses Jennifer Love Hewitt! I guess it's been a slow month in celebrity news? I mean, what was he supposed to say, that he couldn't wait to take her out behind the middle school and get her pregnant?

Anyway, Hewitt went on Twitter last Friday and posted a few thoughts about the drama:

Awww, it sucks she was made to feel silly for this. According to my extensive Internet research, 85% of all warm-blooded American women have some sort of crush on Adam Levine, so Jennifer Love Hewitt is hardly alone—it's just that when one famous person admits to crushing on another, it becomes a Thing. (OMG THEY SHOULD GET MARRIED AND HAVE FAMOUS BABIES!)

I feel sorry for the fact that she's embarrassed, but I like her all the more for flat-out admitting that she feels that way. There's just something so accessible and relatable about JLH, it's like her celebrity status truly hasn't affected her ego. She clearly doesn't have a publicity agent helping her map out every public statement, and I like that about her.

On one end of the fame spectrum, you have oversharing reality star trainwrecks, and on the other, you have people who carefully curate every aspect of their image. In the sane middle, you have Jennifer Love Hewitt. I hope she doesn't feel too bad about the Levine ridiculousness, because I love a celebrity who can keep it real.
