Teresa GiudiceIf tonight's season premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey taught us anything it's that the more things change the more they stay the same. Season four picked up exactly where season three ended: With Caroline Manzo, Melissa Gorga, Kathy Wakile and pretty much everybody else hating on Teresa Giudice. (But, of course, not saying they're hating on her; more inferring it with their constant shit-talking and eye-rolling.) The entire episode focused on Teresa, the rude things she wrote in her cookbook (yes, still), and her heathen (slash alleged cheating) husband, Joe Giudice. It's deja vu all over again.
As much as I dislike Teresa, and am confounded by everything she says/does/wears/eats/drinks, I can't, for the life of me, understand what she sees (ever saw) in her husband. Joe Giudice is ri-goddamn-diculous, people. I can't even. He's rude. He's crude. And he can barely even speak! (Except to tell his daughter to "shut up.") Maybe it's a security thing, or maybe she does really love him, but I just don't understand it, you guys. And now with all these cheating rumors? She should just get out.

Despite my feeling sorry for Teresa for being married to Joe, though, I still think she's just as delusional and jealous as she's always been. Obvs. Her apology to Caroline wasn't really an apology -- it was a "please don't be mad at me, everyone's mad at me" plea. Teresa should have never written those things in her cookbook, but since she did, she best own up to them. You can't go talking smack about people in print and then get mad at them for getting mad at you for doing so.
That's how Teresa rolls, though. It's gotten worse throughout the seasons for sure, but she's never been able to own up to anything. Nothing's ever her fault; she's the only person entitled to money and success, etc. Clearly, she's just insecure, jealous, and angry; and truthfully, it seems like a terrible way to go through life. You almost have to feel sorry for her. Almost.
So, yeah, that basically sums up the episode. We're right back where we left off -- and from the sneak preview of the rest of the season, it seems like there's a whole lot more of where that came from.
Oh, can we discuss one more thing, though? Ashley. And her lips. I meeeaaannn, seriously? I caught a little bit of What What Happens Live afterwards, which had Caroline Manzo on, and according to her, Ashley's back to normal now, but that was kind of insane. She's so young! And pretty, too -- why would she go and do all that crap to herself? Ridic.
What did you think of tonight's episode? Are you on Team Teresa?

I have to say, I just finished watching and my heart broke for Jacqueline, and Gia. Put all the other drama aside, and you see real serious problems with these people. I cried when Jacqueline was talking about Ashley, and when her husband laid down the law. It had TO BE THE HARDEST THING a parent has to do. IMO they should bid farewell to the show and concentrate on saving their kid. Gia about killed me. Her parents are morons and once again we are seeing how these antics and all of the publicity is destroying this little girl. OHHHHH!?! Did ANYONE else take issue with the TEENY WEENY bikini their other daughter had on??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I remember an article on here about little girls and Bikinis and THAT bikini was a prime example of WHAT NOT TO WEAR! Disgusting!
Watching Teresa is like watching a car wreck in slow motion. With every "apology" or conversation, she just digs herself deeper or makes herself look ridiculous. Not saying the other ladies are innocent in this drama, but I am definitely not Team Teresa.
I would like to deliver a swift kick to Joe Giudice's shins. He is a fool and he's just plain mean. My heart went out to the Giudice girls, especially in the car when their parents decided it would be a perfect time to discuss who Joe went out with one night. They need to grow up and have those talks when they aren't around their kids.
Sidebar: I totally didn't see any inappropriate-ness with the bikinis...
I am 100 percent team Teresa...shes still the same person we loved in season 1 and 2, just alot stressed out! I hate that people have turned on her. I hate that everyone says she is jealous...its clear that everyone else are the jealous ones, Teresa is the one with all the success!!! 3 cookbooks, celebrity apprentice(where she has lasted quite a long time beating out many people so far!) cmon people...her family gives her hell, they are the ones with nothing else to do but to sit around and talk smack constantly...while Teresa is all over the country with her success..yes, she should leave housewives, cause shes so much better than them all-her jealous fame hungry family invaded her world and ruined her reputation! And shame on Bravo for using family discord and blowing it up to get ratings and they are also using it because every show needs a villian Teresa was an easy target once Staub left! As for the bikinis..not a biggie when they are that young..as for Teresas idiot husband telling little smart mouth Gia to shut up-good for him! Its the smartest thing that came out of his mouth the whole episode...Its nice to see one of them being a parent(I love Teresa but her kids are bad!) that little girl is way too big for her britches and shouldnt be involving herself in adult conversations..one of my kids did that they wouldnt have gotten a shut up, they would have gotten a backhand!
Never liked Teresa. Her husband is gross, her kids are obnoxious. Although Gia has grown up a lot and is the most mature out of that whole family! The only "success" she has is in glamorizing the trailer trash mentality and writing gossip trash in a book along with her mother's recipes.
I am shocked anyone would be on team Teresa. Yeah she has success, good for her. But she steppe on the ones who loved her to get there. She doesn't deserve one ounce of loyalty from anyone because she has none for them.
As for her being the same person we loved from season 1 and 2- she isnt even recognizable. She was at least funny and loveable, now she is full of anger and bitterness. Maybe she has earned the right to be bitter and angry, I might be too if I were married to that dirt bag, but nothing that happens in your life gives you carte blanche to crap all over the people around you and lie whenever it suits you.
She should be kicked off the show, she is such a train wreck and is doing so much damage to her children.
Shes not recognizable because of Bravos editing and manipulation! They (admittedly)only show small percentage of everything they film-they can manipulate and show you only what they want you to see.Delusional are the ones who cant see that. How would you like it if your family who you didnt get along with invaded your place of work where you were successful(you CANNOT deny she was one of the most popular housewives!) and started sabotaging you, and picking fights, and slamming you at your place of work where you built a good reputation for 2 years?? You would be pretty pissed too I think.
Susan, you are clearly a moron who has nothing intelligent to say, so take your silly one liner and go away.
