courtney loveCourtney Love is currently accusing Dave Grohl, father of two, hottie extraordinaire, and all around likable person, of trying to sleep with her daughter, Francis Bean Cobain, because he's "sexually obsessed" with her late husband, Kurt Cobain. I know.

Love recently went off on one of her crazy Twitter tirades (from her personal Twitter), saying that she learned from her daughter's roommate that Grohl tried to get it on with Francis -- and that Francis was interested, even went home with him, despite the fact that he's known her since she was an infant (and despite their 24-year age gap).

And of course, things only got weirder from there.

Love went on and on and on, saying nonsensical things, like "[Grohl] had his hands all over [Francis];" he "has a romney rape thing going on," and he's a "gross old man macking on Kurt Cobain's only child."

WTF? Those are some serious accusations. Despite the fact that everybody knows that Courtney Love is ... eccentric, Grohl eventually had to step in to defend himself, issuing the statement: "Unfortunately Courtney is on another hateful Twitter rant. These new accusations are upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue."

I know that celebs/musicians/whatever are rarely what we think they are, but I really have a difficult time believing these claims -- and not just because they're coming from Courtney Love; because throughout his extensive career, Dave Grohl has never given anyone a reason to think he's a dirtbag -- and because Courtney's had problems with him forever. She's said it herself: She thinks he's ridden Kurt Cobain's coattails.

And then there's the issue of her involving her child in something so salacious. Why would she do that? What child wants their mother accusing them of sleeping with a 43-year-old man on Twitter, where hundreds (now thousands) of people will see? It's a terrible idea, and an all-around bad decision. Lame, Courtney, super lame.
