When Kim Kardashian announced her plans to divorce to Kris Humphries in October, I bet you didn't think Humphries' name would still be making headlines come April. You probably thought there'd be, like, a month-long media frenzy and then we'd never hear from the guy again, right? Yeah, so did Kim. But dude isn't going anywhere. The (ex)couple still isn't divorced, because Kris refuses to sign anything until Kim admits -- to the public -- that their marriage was a big, fat sham. Could you imagine if that's what it comes to? Dang, yo.
According to an "insider," "Kris wants Kim to admit to fraud, to admit the whole thing was staged for publicity, to make a public apology to him because he really wanted a marriage." Apparently, he's even turned down a cray amount of cash offered by the Kardashians -- $7 million to be exact -- to just "shut up and go away." And while Kim filed for a divorce, Kris actually filed for an annulment based on fraud, and he's demanding to know how much money Kim made during their 72 days of wedded bliss.

This has just gotten ridiculous already. The fact that it's still making news -- and I'm still writing about it -- is mind-boggling. But, with that said, Kris really doesn't want to let Kim off the hook easily. Homie wants retribution.
I really don't know what went on behind closed doors in their marriage. Like you, I just go off of what I've read and what I've seen on Kourtney and Kim Take New York. But, I do know that in the grand scheme of things, if Kim has to come out and actually admit that her marriage was one big, money-making joke, that'll cost her a lot more than $7 million. That's huge. That's her reputation, her entire livelihood. And could you imagine how mortifying that would be for her? What would she even say? Where would she say it? There's no way she's gonna cave. Impossible.
So, on that note, I guess we all have a least a few more months of reading about all things Kim and Kris-related -- a subject that, let's be honest, should have died long ago. And I have a few more months to write about it. Cool.

Kris Humphries is a major ASS!! Wow! The more he is acting out like this, the more I am believing that HE is the real reason why the marriage only lasted 72 days. Honestly, I'm trying to figure out how Kim even married him in the first place! He is like a freaking migraine! He is making it obvious that he is just soaking up the publicity. He knows if he says one thing about Kim than he has caught millions of peoples attentions.. It's a money making scheme for him. Everything that comes out of his mouth can NOT be taken seriously. And people listening to him are only feeding his ego and causing him to say more! I'd love to see him fall hard on his ass!! What a pathetic loser!
It's allher mother's fault, Why does she control them, specially Kim, like that? She is 30, not 3. I feel for Kris as well, ifhe insists she do this, it is because he has the information to bck up his claim.
This will not have a good ending for either one. So sad.
Paula - I agree with you. Kim wanted to be married with kids and rushed into it with the first guy that wanted the same things she did. She didn't give it time with him and that was her big mistake... he turned out to be a big dick! I'm surprised she even liked him in the first place.
Kris is an asshole for trying to ruin her now. He needs to grow up! I get that he's hurt, but come on. Move on already. I'd have much more respect for him if he just divorced her quietly but his demands are showing what an immature jerk he really is.
Kim is just as responsible for keeping it going... people have kind of lost interest in her - Khloe has the adorable relationship w her husband and Kourtney has the babies... if it weren't for this divorce hoopla, what would we have to say about Kim??
Does he realize that if he gets an annulment, it goes on the books that they were never married - therefore it doesn't matter how much she earned, he gets nothing. Get the annulment, Kim!
I agree Kim rushed into her marriage. But one think I notice about the Kardashian women is the don't really like to compromise on anything. It always seems it is their way or no way. Look at Bruce Jenner her lets Khris do anything she wants. But at least he will put his food down when he feels she goes to far. And I understand Kris has Asshole tendencies and said and did something things she shouldnt have. But I think they should have tried a little harder on both sides. But if Kim really followed her heart I respect that. But money made during those 72 days should be split 50/50. And Kris should be allowed his annulment.
