'Hunger Games' World Premiere: What We Saw on the Red Carpet (PHOTOS)

If there was any wonder that Hunger Games is going to be the next big thing, there is no longer. After last night's worldwide premiere in Los Angeles, it is decided. Hunger Games is the next big thing, and I had the chance to witness the latest phenomena firsthand last night -- live from the black carpet!

If you haven't heard of Jennifer Lawrence (Katniss), Josh Hutcherson (Peeta), or Liam Hemsworth (Gale), it's only a matter of time. Last night the media (including me) descended upon the black carpet in full force, and there were screaming fan frenzies that would give Robert Pattinson's best swoonfests a run for their money. Everyone just wanted a piece of that young adult trilogy turned film sensation.

They went all out for the worldwide Hunger Games premiere last night.

Hunger Games fans were going crazy, and this is before any of the stars arrived!

Alexander Ludwig (Cato) -- the arena's bad guy -- was full of great energy on the black carpet. He wasn't scary at all!

Woody Harrelson (Haymitch) zipped by last night, but we caught a peek.

Latarsha Rose (Portia) looked stunning last night.

Willow Shields (Prim) not only rocked a Marc Jacobs dress, but she spoke about the reaping scene so intently! What a sweet girl!

Dayo Okeniyi (Thresh) rocked his mockingjay pin on the black carpet and told us he's totally Team Katniss. Um, yeah!

Fans went absolutely nuts for Josh Hutcherson. It was Team Peeta all the way last night.

Liam Hemsworth (Gale) looked very handsome on the black carpet. 

OMG, Jennifer Lawrence's gold Prabal Gurung gown. Wow! What a sight to behold.
