So, looks like I have some egg to clean up off of my face. See, yesterday, I wrote a post about how Kim Kardashian really oughta give back all the wedding gifts she received (which she should). And in that post, I (sort of) praised Kris Humphries for feeling the same way. I've read many a blog post explaining how he's "furious" with Kim for keeping all the presents, and how he wants her to return them to their rightful owners, etc. etc. But. But ...
Now a new report is surfacing that claims that Kim's BFF, Jonathan Cheban, gave Humphries a $5,000 gift card to Yves Saint Lauren as a wedding gift -- and, yep dude's yet to return it.
There's a twist to this story, though. According to TMZ, Cheban was totally cool with letting Humphries keep the gift card after the couple broke up. But when he found out that Kris was publicly criticizing Kim for not returning everything, he demanded that he return it. Cheban said that as long as Kris has the YSL card, he shouldn't be judging, adding, "Kim did the HONORABLE thing."

Now, on one hand, I kind of see things from Kris' side -- Kim was the one who filed for divorce; she's the one who's keeping ALL the gifts. But at the same time, Kris really has no place to publicly chastise her when he's in fact guilty of a similar crime. If he returned the gift card (or the cash), chastise away. But until he does, he should keep his yapper shut. Ya heard?

ok, let's backtrack just a touch.
* cheban is kim k's bff. from what i've heard (i don't watch the show, but have a wicked tmz addiction) mr. cheban has been anti kris from the beginning. wasn't there an episode with a kat (haha) fight between them or something? the two of them remind me of some housewives i've heard of...
* you (and everyone else) is assuming that cheban gave the card directly to kris - now, how many of you have been to, or a bride in, a wedding? when all the gifts get tallied up, they're in a big pile of "ours". not "hers" and "his". and i'm pretty sure YSL has ladies' stuff too. so why assume kris is keeping the card? how do you know kim k didn't get both gifts and never gave it to kris?
honestly, this is more speculation than these people deserve, but i had to throw it out there. really, i'd love to just slap some sense into all of them with a nice serving of "Bitch! Please!" on the side. ;)

I don't belive JC for a second. He is a big drama queen who does this all the time. Every time a story comes out about Kris bashing Kim, here comes Jonathan with some kind of accusation. It's nothing more than an attempt to make Kim look good and Kris look bad.
It's so sad how 2 people who claimed to be in love can treat each other like trash not even 5 months after they ended their marriage. Such a shame.
Amanda.... she donated the money which equals a tax write off. So, not only is she keeping all the gifts but she is benefiting from them on her taxes. The right thing to do is return the gifts and let the gift giver do with it what they please. She shouldn't benefit from wedding gifts at all.
I think he should keep the card for pain and suffering. Plus Kim got a fat check for the wedding. Is she donating the millions from that? NO so in reality she is only donating the gifts that her guest bought to make herself look good.
They seem like 2 peas in a broken pod. I hope these 2 don't turn into Jen and Brad the never-ending saga.
