It was one of the few (if not the only) highlights of the otherwise really terrible, incredibly boring Oscars. Since Sunday night's show, we've gone Angelina leg crazy. We can't get enough. And now, we're at the point where a professional psychotherapist (one with a degree and all) is weighing in on the actress's bizarre behavior, explaining to the public what the hell it all meant.

In short, it's a cry for attention. Radar spoke to therapist Jessica Aronson, and here's what she had to say: "Her dress, like many others such as Jennifer Lopez's, was so exposing and in my clinical opinion a deeper desire for attention." An actress having a deeper desire for attention? Noooo.

Of course Angelina Jolie wanted attention -- every single man and woman on the red carpet wanted attention -- but I don't think the kind of attention Aronson is talking about. I don't think it's the "I'm so insecure/this is a cry for help" kind. Angelina Jolie knew exactly what she was doing at the Academy Awards -- and, most likely, that there'd be all sorts of backlash. She's not a member of MENSA, but I think she's a pretty smart woman. I also think she's extremely self-aware.

Make what you will of this, but I believe that every single move that woman makes is calculated and planned to a tee. Every look, every sentence, and every pose -- especially that pose. I don't think she was walking around willy-nilly, letting her leg do whatever, unaware of what was happening. You think all those loving looks and touches to Brad Pitt at premieres are 100 percent natural? Hell no, they're not. They're photo-ops.

Angelina Jolie may have had to endure a bit of ridicule, but she got exactly what it is that she wanted out of the weird stunt: We're all talking about her, and we're all confused. So, basically, as always, she's the puppeteer.
