grant wilsonParanormal fans across the country are in shock this morning after Grant Wilson announced that he is leaving Ghost Hunters on last night's episode. OMG. Why is Grant leaving Ghost Hunters? The show is just never going to be the same without him. Say it isn't so!

Although he didn't really give a clear indication as to why he's leaving the show, Wilson did say that it was for "personal reasons," which could mean a whole host of things. Maybe his wife got sick of having him on the road all the time. Or maybe he's going to pull a classic reality TV move and get his own paranormal spin-off. And then there's always the possibility that he and co-host Jason Hawes just weren't getting along anymore. Who knows?

Whatever his reasoning for departing Ghost Hunters, Grant will truly be missed. How can we ever forget some of his creepiest moments in ghost hunting?

One of the spookiest episodes of Ghost Hunters was when they visited the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. In this clip, you can actually hear a ghostly voice say "Hello" to Grant and Jason in a tunnel under the hotel.

Another super-creepy Grant moment was when he and Jason heard someone running up and down the stairs, even though no one else was in the house.

Or how about the time that Grant and Jason brought a dog in to investigate with them -- and she wouldn't go into some of the rooms? Shiver ...
