You know how catchy Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" is? So catchy that an 8-year-old little English princess learned all the lyrics and spit 'em out on YouTube/national TV, and we all flipped our lids! So. Take the infectiousness of that track and multiply it by, oh, I don't know, 1,000, and you've got Madonna's single, "Give Me All Your Luvin'." The song is a TOTAL earworm, and is about to (as Ke$ha would say) "bl-ohhhh, oh, oh, oh."
Madge teased the track and a snippet of the music video on American Idol last night, but today, we get the real treat -- the full-length song and football-themed video in all of its glory. And it is pretty glorious. It's got everything you could possibly imagine wanting in a music video from Madonna in 2012: Controversy (she "breastfeeds" a baby doll?!), taboo (strange anime doll-masked girls make out), a retro wig nod to Marilyn Monroe (see above), oh, and of course, the Material Girl's latest ladies in waiting, M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj.
Check it out:
"Y-O-U, you wanna?!!" OMG, yes, I do! It's kind of impossible to NOT rock out to this track and, of course, eat up all the video's eye candy. I feel like it was a hybrid of "Hey Mickey," Austin Powers, and anime-ish imagery mixed with Nicki Minaj's over-the-top, cartoon-y shtick. Then, you've got Madonna herself looking glammed-out and at least 20 years younger than she actually is rounding out the whole display, so it's pretty much solid pop culture gold. Not to mention that the vid fits the track so well! The surreal aspect actually makes the whole, megalomaniac-ish "L-U-V MADONNA!" stuff less annoying.
Damnit! And I had been all about following in Elton John's hubby's footsteps and hatin' on Madge after that obnoxious interview she gave 20/20 last month. But again and again, the woman proves she's still got it ... at least when it comes to her specialty and the field in which she's undeniably an icon: Pop music and music videos. Now, sigh, as much as we love to loathe some of her grating behavior, we must admit: Madonska really is an amazeballs entertainer, and she's standing the test of time (in more ways than one).

LOVE IT!!!! She's done it again, bravo Madonna!
I'm not a fan of it. But, if they play it on the radio enough times (which I'm sure they will) it will probably end up in my head.
I think it's funny how some of the lyrics are "Every record sounds the same", when this song is basically something like a paint by number but with music. Just fill in the blanks.
I heard it on the radio today and couldn't make it through the whole song...I thought it was terrible.
I love Madonna and I think it would have better with just her. I have no idea who the wanna be chicks were but they sucked.
I haven't liked Madonna since I was a kid.
Not a fan.
She looks pretty great, but the song is kinda dull. I can see it getting stuck in your head like a commercial jingle, but I wouldn't listen to it by choice.
heard betters from her to be honest... kinda disappointing
she looks great!!
