‘Teen Mom’ Chelsea Houska Drug Rumors Have Gotta Be False

Chelsea Houska Teen Mom 2 There are rumors about the stars of Teen Mom 2 that make you laugh. There are rumors that make you cry. And then there are the rumors that leave you screaming, "Please, don't let it be true!" File the latest about Chelsea Houska under the latter.

"Sources" were telling the tabloids that the South Dakota mom was a pill-popper who put daughter Aubree to bed every night just in time to flush a sleeping pill down with a big glass of wine. Other times, they were saying she'd take the pills with the little girl right there. And to make matters even worse, the claims were the reality star was getting her Ambien from a friend rather than a doctor's prescription. Yikes!

The good news is Chelsea is vehemently denying everything. She took to Twitter several times during the night refute the allegations, but this swipe really drove home how disturbing this kind of rumor is:

Let's be clear: this wasn't your run of the mill rumor. An allegation that a mom is getting herself so wasted she cannot care for her child is essentially a claim of child abuse. The laws vary by state, but if you are parenting while under the influence and something happens to your kid, there are precedents for child endangerment charges at the very least.

That's not funny. It's vicious.

From what I've seen of her, Houska does not seem the type to neglect her child. I may not agree with her choices (please, for the love of Mike, would she find some respect for herself and tell that loser boyfriend where to stuff it for GOOD?), but Aubree always appears dressed, clean, healthy, and loved. Even the problems with Adam come back to Chelsea trying to do what she thinks is right for her little girl: trying to give her a "family."

What do you think about Chelsea as a mom? Are these rumors particularly cruel or just what reality stars have to deal with?

This is sad... I doubt its true. EVEN if chelsea is taking ambien to sleep... so what? its a sleeping pill... but she should have it prescribed to her if she needs it. Anyway, I dont believe it, and its obvious that Aubree is well taken care of and very loved. Unfortunately I think this is the kind of thing reality "celebs" have to deal with...

Sleeping pills? seriously? they make it sound like it's Vicodin or Oxycontin! I think Chelsae is one of the most mature responsible and loving parent that teen mom as had. Yes some of the other girls are great but there is no way Chelsae would do anything to put her daughter in danger. she has Aubree everywhere she goes on that show, she even had her at a job interview with her!! People need to get a life and find something worth writing about!

I highly doubt its true, Chelsea is a wonderful mom and always doing her best to give Aubrey everything she needs. If she has problems sleeping and takes a sleeping pill here or there to help who cares as long as her daughters in bed and its before bed!! People need to give those poor girls a break, I feel bad that they sold their personal life to mtv at such a young age and now have to deal with the viciousness of being a celeb. Its kind of discusting how mtv is using these poor girls personal life as entertainment to make money!!!

I doubt this is true but even if it was who cares. Its ambein, I take it after I put my little guy to bed too. No Big deal, they did make it seem like a hard drug, but a sleeping pill really?

I THINK IT IS ONLY A RUMOR. PEOPLE HAVE TO TALK, AND SAYING NEGATIVE, UN-TRUE THINGS TO MAKE THEM SELVES FEEL BETTER IS REALLY LAME. CHELSEA SEEMS TO BE A GREAT MOM, AND ON THE RIGHT TRACK. NOW IF SHE FINDS HER A NEW, DECENT MAN, AND FORGET ADAM SHE WILL BE EVEN BETTER OFF:) I WISH HER THE VERY BEST.

She wouldn't be able to care for her kid if it weren't for her dad. She doesn't even have her GED. Unless youre a complete idiot, you should be able to just go take the test. It's literally "idiot proof".

She just now got a job. If her dad cut her off, she wouldn't know what to do.

I don't think shes trying hard enough to be a single mom. Adam obviously doesn't want to be with her, so she needs to get off her butt and figure out how to be self-sufficient.
