Ashton Kutcher's Partying Makes Demi Moore's Breakdown Look Even More Sad

Ashton Kutcher is such a yahoo that I'm almost at the point where I kind of like the guy. He always seems to say the wrong thing at the wrong time, or be in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's like he's the real-life version of Kelso, his character on That '70s Show.

First, there was his Twitter snafu on September 11 of last year when he tweeted, "Greatest day of the year" in reference to the fact that football was starting. Then, in the wake of the Sandusky scandal, Kutcher tweeted, "How do you fire Jo Pa? #insult #noclass as a hawkeye fan I find it in poor taste," completely oblivious to the fact that there was even a scandal going on. And now, the actor finds himself in yet another awkward position: While his ex-wife, Demi Moore, was rushed to the hospital, Ashton was partying it up in Brazil with a bunch of supermodels.

The actor was in South America to shoot a catalogue for the Brazilian fashion brand Colcci. While he was there, he went to a show at Sao Paulo Fashion Week, and hung out with a bunch of Brazilian celebrities, including Victoria's Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio. On Monday -- the night Demi was rushed to the hospital -- Kutcher Tweeted a picture of himself "surfing the streets of Sao Paulo" in the rain.

Now, obviously, he had no clue that this was going to happen Demi. But it's just ironic -- and so Ashton -- to be where he was when he was. It also shows how drastically different these two are handling things.

On one hand, you've got Demi, the alleged victim of a cheating spouse, rail thin and stressed out beyond belief, being admitted to a hospital. On the other, you've got Ashton who's "surfing the streets of Sao Paulo." Doesn't take a doctorate, or a high school diploma, to know who's moved on and who hasn't.

It's sad. I feel bad for Demi. It's never fun going through a breakup. But I imagine when your husband cheated -- and clearly doesn't feel any remorse afterwards -- it's really gotta suck. Hang in there, Demi. And if it's any consolation to you, I don't find Ashton remotely attractive. Just annoying.

I don't typically comment on posts about celebrities, because frankly I don't really care enough to exert the energy... however your comment about "who has moved on and who hasn't" made me want to say something. There are many ways that people deal with sad situations in their lives, many of which are self-destructive. But partying could just as well be an indicator of NOT moving on as being visibly depressed can be. Who's to say he's moved on? He could simply be avoiding dealing with a situation that he is not capable of dealing with. Just a thought...

It sounds like you're suggesting that she might be going thru a hard time because of the divorce. Any chance that she's going thru the divorce BECAUSE of her own personal demons? Who knows which came first. I don't think that people that get cheated on automatically turn to drug/alcohol abuse with a little eating disorder on the side. Its not like she's 35 left with four small children with a mortgage and no child support. This could be who she has been for awhile now and maybe he's finally feeling a little freedom.

He gets more annoying by the minute. I feel sorry for Demi too. She's obviously heartbroken and he's obviously an ass.

Honestly, who cares what or whom's he's doing! He's divorced man with no children. If he calls his ex-wife to check on her well-being, so be it. Their exes for a reason. Yeah, he cheated...a no-no, deal breaker in ANY marriage IMO.

They had an open marraige and participated in threesomes regularly. You cannot feel sorry for her when this kind of marriage was her gift to him to get him to marry her in the first place! She lost him for many reasons and she is allowing her demons to win. She needs help.

I think that Ashton's behavior is just as sad as Demi's. He's partying in excess, having unprotected sex, hanging out with girls over a decade younger, drinking...sounds like he is coming undone in his own way. On the outside it may look like he is having fun, but these are not the behaviors of a healthy, well-adjusted guy in his mid-thirties.
