Just in time for Valentine's Day, vampire lovers are going to get their biggest wish. And I'm not talking about the release of Breaking Dawn: Part 1 on DVD, although that's part of the package ... On Friday, February 10, Target is throwing an exclusive Twilight DVD release party, and some lucky fans will get the chance to watch a sneak peek of Breaking Dawn: Part 2. I KNOW.
According to the official invite on the Target website, fans can pick up their BD: Part 1 DVD or Blu-ray (which will include "an authentic prop flower from the film's wedding scene encased in a collectible keepsake," aww) beginning at 9 p.m. Then, the sneak peek will start at 11. Stores will be staying open a little bit later than usual to accommodate the event ... and surely, the massive crowd of Twi-hards who will no doubt be lined up around town!

We all know that when certain fans come out for their favorite franchise, they mean business. Just look at Harry Potter fans ... They would line up and dress up to make sure they were among the first to nab the latest J.K. Rowling title or see its translation onto the big screen. But for Stephenie Meyer's Twilight, Twi-hards are even MORE intense. Maybe it's the nature of the plot and the characters. All that red-eyed Cullen staring gets people all worked up and ready to pounce!!

And pounce they shall on this sneak peek. I don't think there's a single even lukewarm Twilight fan out there who isn't waiting with bated breath to see how BD: Part 2 plays out. That's because the first installment left us on the edge of our seats. And we know that based on where the first part ended and the second will pick up, it's bound to deliver. If only on the front that we'll get to see Bella as a vampire and daughter Renesmee!
See, there's absolutely no way this sneak peek could disappoint. That said, it makes perfect sense for them to turn up to Target in droves. I just hope the stores are ready to be rocked by the fans!

LOL I was going to say what Tiffany did. I'll just wait for someone to get it up online. I'm going to guess no later than 24 hours. I will be getting the DVD though. I had no idea it was coming out so soon. Yay! :)
BOO! I already pre-ordered the DVD from Amazon. I hate it when Target does this; a week after they announce when the DVD is coming out, Target announces their release with some extra goody like the petal from the wedding. No, I won't be waiting at the Target. I like to keep the movie hidden until they officially release that first preview!
