Ashton Kutcher Tells the 'Truth' in Bizarre Video Rant

Ashton KutcherWhen news came that Ashton Kutcher finally addressed "the truth" in an online video, I was thrilled to hear what he had to say about the recent cheating allegations against him ...  until I saw it and its ridiculous contents. In it he basically teases and taunts as he lectures us all about things like truth and integrity, without ponying up an ounce of either himself.

In a video he posted on the new site Chime. In, he gives the bizarre rant, which is all too reminiscent of Charlie Sheen.

You can try to watch the video here, but it's pretty fuzzy. You can hear his odd rhetoric loud and clear though. Here are a few snippets from his ramblings about the "status of truth as it pertains to literature and media”:

We are our own editors, we are our own publishers and we are our own printers. Therefore, people can bastardize the truth in any way, shape or form that they want and spread that around the world. There’s that old saying where a lie can travel halfway around the world before the truth can leave someone’s lips.

Uh, what?

I was thinking that we really have to take it upon ourselves to instill a level of honesty… in the works in the media that we create and share with one another and be certain that we are doing our own diligence that what we are saying is for the benefit of another.

At least there were no references to goddesses, I guess. The biggest problem with this video though is the fact that he's not wearing his wedding ring. You know that's no oversight; that's a big eff you to everyone.

Did he cheat on Demi? I don't know. The photos of him partying it up with Sara Leal and friends certainly make one wonder. Also, recent pictures of a painfully thin-looking Demi Moore definitely raise questions. It's not like people are talking for no reason whatsoever. And like it or not, he's famous -- relationship speculation comes with the job.

Instead of this insane rant blaming everyone else for not telling the truth, Ashton owes it to his fans -- and more importantly to his family -- to be honest. Or at the very least, he should just keep quiet and stop taunting us with the truth unless he's really ready to deliver it.

What do you think of Ashton Kutcher's video about the truth?
