Meri and Kody BrownBig shocker on this week's episode of Sister Wives! A hometown reunion with Kody Brown's high school pals revealed that the polygamist patriarch didn't turn into a raging narcissist overnight. No, he's been an unrepentant attention-whore since he was a kid!
Okay, so I was being sarcastic about the "shocker" part. But to be perfectly honest, I was rather surprised by some of the memories Kody's former classmates shared:
"I always thought he was gay," said one woman. "Flamboyantly gay."
Apparently Kody had quite a fondness for wearing tight pants and flipping his boyishly blond locks to and fro (He whipped his hair back and forth/He whipped his hair back and forth) back in the day. Kody's response to this retrograde accusation was to jokingly call himself a metrosexual. Okay, except not only am I pretty sure nobody uses that word anymore, I don't know if it was ever considered appropriate slang for fundamentalists in flannel shirts.
In any case, the jabs at Kody's secretly flamboyant history were good fun, but other insights were surprising simply because they were so accurate.
Like what another woman said during a discussion about whether or not Kody's old friends were taken aback by his "lifestyle choice" and if they knew why he made it:
"I just kinda saw it as a built-in way for you to be the center of attention all the time, which is what you'd always been ... how can you not be with 4 wives and 16 kids?"
How's that for a hit-the-nail-on-the-head psychological analysis in about 30 seconds flat??
The funniest part was, Kody didn't seem to be the slightest bit insulted; rather, he (and everybody else) got a good hearty chuckle out of the whole thing.
Oh, that Kody! Always stirring the pot! What a clown he is ... on a holy mission from God. Or something. Because sure he's a lecherous buffoon, but it's all in the name of the Lord, right?
Sure it is, Kody. Sure it is.

You are coming at this from the wrong angle. You think that he wants to have sex with 4 different women without anyone thinkging that it is wrong. But do you even consider that he is caring for these women and the children that they all have together? Please open your mind.

I like this family. Like someone says above he is taking care of them he raises the kids and they are all loved and cared for. These women were not forced to be there and they are obviously not new at this as they have all been together for years. Think of all the fathers (and mothers) who just walk out on their kids and he is there taking care of his.
