Before you jump to conclusions about why Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans was rushed to Brunswick County Hospital in North Carolina today, let me just say up front that this was a legit health scare. Meaning no drugs, alcohol, or catfights were to blame for Evans' medical emergency.
Yes, it was an ovarian cyst that sent Evans to the ER in crippling pain, which she took the time to tweet about before going to the hospital: Apparently the young mother thought her appendix had burst.
No word yet on whether Evans will need surgery; for now, she was sent home to rest with a stash of painkillers (uh-oh!). But she must have been in a fair amount of pain to be up "crying since 2 a.m.," as she tweeted, since we know from her feisty past that this girl is pretty dang tough.
You've got to feel for Evans' 2-year-old son, Jace: Mommy just got back from a month in rehab, and now he had to see her whisked off to the hospital again. (Better an ambulance than a squad car, I suppose.) Hopefully this last trauma will make Evans even more committed to being a stable, healthy mom to her little boy.
I do worry about those painkillers, though.
Do you think Evans will stay out of trouble?
