'DWTS': Kirstie Alley Should Have Skipped the Cartwheel

The DWTS Season 12 two-part finale proved that two of the three dancers belong here and one of them is not Kirstie Alley.

I hate to say it because I agree with Carrie Ann Inaba who said Monday night that Alley is an example of how life should be lived at 60. As Inaba said, Alley is "free, loving, buoyant, crazy, wacky, unpredictable, all of the above, and then some!"

Indeed, she is. But now she's just not as good as the other two. It's plain and simple and it bums me out because she rocks, but Chelsea Kane and Hines Ward rock a little more.

Alley has a knack for dancing with her eyes and for moving her body in such a way that it looks halfway decent even though really the rhythm is off and she isn't fully committed. Her cartwheel in her freestyle is a perfect example. She committed to something kind of cool, but in execution, it looked a little sloppy.

She has built most of her dancing on charisma, whereas the other two are genuinely talented in dance. So while I love Alley and think she is everything I want to be in 30 years, she shouldn't get the mirror ball trophy, sorry to say.

And judging from the scores, it seems the judges agree. As for who should win? It's hard to say. I am 60 percent in the Hines Ward camp and 40 percent in the Kane camp. Who will it be? I guess we will know Tuesday night!

Who do you think will win?
