Jane Seymour Needs to Shut Up About Arnold Schwarzenegger

Everyone's got an opinion these days about Arnold Schwarzenegger, mostly that he's totally a slimy clichéd cheaterpants sack of steroid-riddled douchebaggery who's too stupid to use a condom while he's violating his wedding vows.

Also, we all kind of want to give Maria a hug.

While news that the former governor of California fathered a child out of wedlock (with a maid) (who gave birth to the child less than a week from when Maria Shriver gave birth to their son Christopher) (because OMG this story wasn't bad enough on its own) makes for great water cooler gossip, actress Jane Seymour seems to think it's also a great opportunity to scape up some press.

I can't think of any other reason why she chose to weigh in on the scandal to CNN. Not only did she describe her reaction as "not even remotely surprised," but Seymour went on to dish out even more shocking dirt on Schwarzenegger's philandering ways:

From what I gather, I think there will be lots of information coming people's way. I heard about two more [out of wedlock kids] somebody else knows about. I even met someone who knows him well.

Classy, lady. Real classy.

Okay, first of all, while I don't exactly think it's completely unlikely that Arnold Sperminated even more mistresses back in the day, what kind of irresponsible rumormongering is this? "Somebody else" knows about this? You "even met someone who knows him"? What?

Unless the love children came out of your own personal vagina, Seymour, you should probably keep this unauthenticated information to yourself.

Secondly, while Seymour says she "feels sorry for the kids"—only the legitimate ones, I presume—if she really gave a crap about their feelings, why would she hurt them even more with the statement that they have at least two more half-siblings floating around somewhere?

It's not exactly respectful to Maria Shriver, either. For god's sake, she's going through enough right now without Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, running her rumor-hole.

Thirdly, is it just me or does this sound like the bitter comments of a woman previously scorned? I'd like to know the Vegas odds on Seymour, former Bond girl, having had a little something something going on with Schwarzenegger once upon a time. After all, I heard from my hairdresser's daughter's schoolmate's stuffed Webkinz that it's totally true.

What's your take on Jane Seymour's comments about Arnold Schwarzenegger? Fair game or low blow?
