Courteney Cox & David Arquette Overshare: Bring It!

Sasha Brown-Worsham

What is it with Courteney Cox and David Arquette? The two seem hellbent on letting everyone and their brother in on the inner workings of their marriage.

They almost got it on at Disney World recently by the way. How do I know this? Because Arquette told Howard Stern and Cox told David Letterman. Seriously, you two, what the hell?

Arquette told Stern:

Listen, I tried to f*ck her, and she doesn't even want me. This is the happiest place on Earth! Let’s make it happier! We were ... eighth graders. Seventh graders.

Yeah, I totally did NOT need to know that.

Wednesday night Cox was on Letterman talking about the same trip. She said:

He did try to hit on me, yeah. He hit pretty hard, and I said, "You know, you don’t have the Fast Pass right now. Not to that ride!"

She also revealed that Arquette was so obsessed with sex that he got all hot and bothered while he was comforting her about her dying dad. So, OK. We know ALL about their sexual problems. We know they didn't have sex for months. We know he hit on other women. We know he cried about that, too. The two have been so open and candid about their relationship that it's almost eerie.

In a world where most celebrities of their caliber do so much to hide every detail, the openness with which these two share their lives is a bit unnerving. Or maybe it's just because they have a movie coming out Friday. Scream 4 is bringing all the dirty laundry out. It's how they met and now, on the heels of their separation announcement last year, it's how they continue to be intertwined.

It's all kind of refreshing to be honest. In trying to hide all of their secrets from the public, most celebs just end up looking like self-important dinglehoppers. We're all curious so you might as well spill the beans. If you don't, someone is going to go digging anyway!

The truth is relationships are messy and complicated and two people can love each other and also be totally messed up. Yes, there are children (or one child) involved, but it isn't going to kill a child to learn the truth about their parents at a young age.

I say more power to them and keep on sharing!

Do you think they are over-sharing?
