The movie's makers don't want us to get a sneak peek of Twilight stars Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in any (more) compromising positions. Rumored to be seriously steamy, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn production stills -- other than the official one that's pictured here -- have been leaked. But now Summit Entertainment is asking those who have been sharing and posting the unoffish pics to basically cease and desist.
From a Facebook message on Summit's page:
We are extremely proud of this film and also extremely heartbroken to see it out there at this stage. The film and these images are not yet ready or in their proper context. They were illegally obtained and their early dissemination is deeply upsetting to the actors, the filmmakers, and Summit who are working so hard to bring these movies to fruition to you in November 2011 and November 2012.
The letter, which is signed by creator/author Stephenie Meyer, director Bill Condon, producer Wyck Godfrey, and Summit Entertainment, goes on to sound almost pleading:
Please, for those who are posting, stop. And please, though the temptation is high, don't view or pass on these images. Wait for the film in its beautiful, finished entirety to thrill you.
Ha! No one really wants to wait for the entire film to premiere in November. This is only the hottest, steamiest, most climax-iest installment of the series! The creators know it. And they just want to be ones controlling what gets "leaked" when. So apparently, April is too soon to see Bella going through a vampire transformation in which her eyes turn amber-colored! Too soon to see any screen grabs of Bella and Edward getting it on. What a shame.
I'm sure Twilight fans respect the filmmakers, but at the same time, if they happened to Google "Breaking Dawn leaked photos" and happened to see some sexy photos ... well, come on, they're right -- the temptation is just too darn high!!! Who isn't going to at least take a peek?
Would you heed the filmmakers' advice and not share the pics if you happened to find them online?
