Charlie Sheen 'TODAY' Show: If He's Clean, He's Crazy (VIDEOS)

Charlie Sheen

Charlie Sheen on TODAY

Clips from the next interview chronicling the mad descent of actor Charlie Sheen ran earlier today on the TODAY show. In his chat with NBC’s Jeff Rossen, you'll hear Charlie say he is clean and not on drugs. The actor also submitted both blood and urine drug tests to, which also came back clean. However, if this is a clean and sober man, we have some bigger problems.

As you watch Sheen in the interview, you'll see -- drugs or no drugs -- he truly isn't right in the head. At all. He look gaunt, he's wild-eyed, and he may have suffered some hair loss since we saw him last. He looks older, and frankly, he looks and acts mentally ill, which is the biggest worry, of course, if he isn't using his favored drug cocaine.

Watch the interview yourself after the jump.

It's really scary to think Charlie Sheen may have irreparable damage to his brain from all the drug use. Earlier Dr. Drew speculated that he was showing signs of bipolar disorder and mania, flying off to the Bahamas for an orgy with his duo of "goddesses" like he did last week, calling into radio shows and ranting, and so on.

In the new interview, he's delusional to the point of paranoia at times, not to mention agitated and extremely bizarre and irrational. He says things like:

I'm tired of pretending like I'm not special. I'm tired of pretending like I'm not bitchin', a total frickin' rock star from Mars. People can't figure me out, they can't process me. I don't expect them to. You can't process me with a normal brain.

I am on a drug. It's called Charlie Sheen. It's not available because if you try it once you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body.

People misinterpret my passion for anger. ... You borrow my brain for five seconds and just be, like, Dude! Can't handle it! Unplug this bastard! Because it fires in a way that is, I don't know, maybe not from this particular terrestrial realm.

On his last bout with cocaine, he says:

I probably took more than anybody could survive ... I was bangin' seven gram rocks and finishing them because that's how I roll. I have one speed, I have one gear: go.

He also calls himself a "warlock," describes his past drug abuse as "magic," says he has "tiger blood" and "Adonis DNA," and believes he's not bipolar but "bi-winning."

We looked up bipolar disorder to see if the symptoms match up with what we saw in the interview, and indeed, there were many many similarities. In fact, Charlie Sheen may have displayed all of these symptoms over this past week.

Bipolar Disorder Symptoms:

  • Euphoria
  • Extreme optimism
  • Inflated self-esteem
  • Poor judgment
  • Rapid speech
  • Racing thoughts
  • Aggressive behavior
  • Agitation or irritation
  • Increased physical activity
  • Risky behavior
  • Spending sprees or unwise financial choice
  • Increased drive to perform or achieve goal
  • Increased sex drive
  • Decreased need for sleep
  • Inability to concentrate
  • Careless or dangerous use of drugs or alcohol
  • Frequent absences from work
  • Delusions or a break from reality (psychosis)
  • Poor performance at work or school

If, on the other hand, Charlie somehow he duped the drug tests he took, maybe we're dealing with a drug-induced psychosis. Either way, things are not good for Charlie Sheen, despite the crazy, delusional ride going on in his brain. This is so incredibly scary to watch.
