The cast of Season 12 of Dancing With the Stars, which premieres March 21 on ABC, will be revealed during The Bachelor tonight.
Fans were given a few hints during last night's Oscars when a commercial spot teasing the big announcement aired with the voices of the new DWTS cast.
If you couldn't tell who you were hearing -- you're not alone. Most voices of sub-par celebrities (sorry, DWTS crew) aren't exactly as obvious as oh ... Morgan Freeman or Julia Roberts. Dying to know who'll be shaking things up this season and don't want to wait until tonight? Well no worries, ladies. I'm here to do a little bit of reconnaissance and wade through all of the swirling rumors ... starting with you, Jodie Sweetin:
Yup, everyone's favorite Full House daughter is rumored to be gearing up for a career comeback on Season 12. Other potential dancers include:
Famous designer Vera Wang: The main question on my mind is: Will she design all her own costumes? I'm thinking a possible fashion revolution on the dance floor could be sort of necessary. Half of the outfits that Audrina Patridge wore last season made me want to curl over in horror ... even if she does have a banging body.
Wrestler Chris Jericho: Talk about toughening up the dance floor, eh? I could see this six-time world champion doing a mean mambo. Or perhaps a quickstep! In his line of work, it's all about being nimble, flexible, and strong. I suggest the strong man shows up in a pair of bikinis.
Talk show host Wendy Williams: Williams is known for her boisterous voice and strong opinion. If she lands a spot on the Season 12 lineup, will it possible for her to keep her mouth shut for that amount of time?
NFL quarterback Brett Favre: Two words: Yes. Please. Can you imagine watching that stud shake it during a little salsa number? OK, so he may be a bit creepy post-text messaging fiasco, but he's still pretty to look at!
Kirstie Alley: When I think Alley, I think of two things. First, her role in It Takes Two (because who doesn't love a good Olsen twins flick?) and secondly, her battle with weight loss. If this rumor is true, I think the show could do wonders for Alley's appearance and overall health. Not to mention, it will give her a huge ego and confidence boost.
By the looks of things, it seems that this season's cast is going to be one worth watching. I mean, who doesn't love a good weight loss success story and a few good hunks with a spring in their step?
What do you think of the rumors? Who would you like to see on this season of Dancing With the Stars?
