The Hangover 2 is one of the most highly anticipated sequels ever. People have been itching to buy a ticket for it ever since the credits started rolling on the original. The plot for the film, due out Memorial Day weekend, has been kept under pretty tight wraps, further fueling anticipation and speculation. Finally today, a trailer was released, giving us a small glimpse at what's to come.
I for one am a little bit confused about what I saw, and a little concerned it's going to suck. I was almost too distracted by Bradley Cooper's hotness to concentrate on anything else, but there it was -- a monkey. Not just any monkey, but a monkey wearing clothes, walking on its hind legs with The Wolfpack. WTF?
Check it out and see what I mean:
At first I thought it was a spoof or something, but it claims to be the actual trailer. The movie focuses on Phil, Stu, Alan, and Doug traveling to Bangkok for Stu's wedding ... and apparently some human-like monkey befriends them? If it talks, then I'm not even sure if I can see the movie. The baby was one thing, but I hate hokey animal characters in what are supposed to be people movies.
And what's on Stu's face, a tattoo? Liam Neeson does play an Irish tattoo artist in the flick, so perhaps it's his handiwork -- ouch!
We don't get much else from the clip other than a reminder of just how awesome this group of guys is together, and how May 26 can't come soon enough. That primate better not screw things up.
Do you think The Hangover 2 will be as good as the first, better or worse?
