'X-Men First Class' Trailer: My Inner 13-Year-Old Boy Is So Excited

x-men first classHi, my name is Heather and I am an X-Men fan. I've seen all of the movies and actually watched the cartoon series. And, yes, I'm 38 and a mom.

That's why I'm giddy and not-so-patiently waiting to see the X-Men: First Class trailer, which is being shown on Facebook today. All you have to do to see the trailer is "Like" the page (the perfect way for a movie studio to build a following), and then wait. And wait. And wait some more. There's no word on what time today the trailer will actually be posted.

So I'm taking precautions to ensure I get to see it as soon as it goes up.

Facebook is open in a tab on my computer, and the 13-year-old boy in me keeps clicking over and hitting refresh.

Maybe I'm desperately hanging on to my childhood, maybe this is something I need to discuss with my therapist, but, in the meantime, I am so excited to see the trailer, I think I have a pimple.

This latest X-Men movie has fans (like moi) all atwitter (on Twitter and off). Set in the '60s, it's a prequel, examining what took place in the main characters' younger years. We will find out how Charles Xavier became wheelchair-bound Professor X, how Erik Lehnsherr became his nemesis Magneto ... and what caused their friendship to totally implode.

Sorry, dudes, that means no blue-painted Rebecca Romijn. But we do get Mad Men's January Jones as uber-sexy Emma Frost (she has telepathic powers and a hot bod). And Kevin Bacon and Oliver Platt are teamed up again, their first reunion since Flatliners back in 1990.

In case you were wondering, I will be more excited when the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 trailer is released. I know. Time to call my shrink.

Anyone else stoked about X-Men: First Class?
