'Kourtney & Kim Take New York' Recap: The 'W' Magazine Shoot Explained

Kim KardashianKim Kardashian took a lot of heat when she appeared nude last fall in W magazine. She was covered in silver paint, but it covered very little and was deemed more racy than her Playboy spread. On this week's episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York, she explained just why she did it -- she didn't mean to.

She started off all excited about the shoot, detailing how ALL of her was covered in the silver paint. “I had to bend over and they painted like in my ass,” she told Kourtney. A lovely thought. She described how it would be all artistic, and all her parts would be covered by buildings and such.

Then she saw the actual pictures ...

Upon seeing them for the first time, she seemed truly distraught. I don't think she's a good enough actress to fake it, so it was hard not to feel a little sorry for her -- but just a little.

"You can see nipple, you can see my ass crack, oh my God I’m more naked here than I was in my Playboy," she said.

“I feel so f*&*%ng taken advantage of.”

“I don’t want people to be like ‘all she’s good for is being naked.’"

I'll reserve comment on the last one.

So she went out on the town to drown her sorrows with her sisters (Khloe was in town) and Scott Disick. When a fan's girlfriend got belligerent and in Kim's face, calling her a whore and the like, she was rescued by an unlikely hero -- Scott!

Of course, he does like to fight, but in this case, he was almost gallant. Kim needed help, and he let his fist fly to protect her. Kourtney, however, was in the bathroom when it all went down, so all she saw was Scott being kicked out of the bar, and she lost it, thinking he was back to his wicked ways. It wasn't until after much unlikely lobbying from her sisters on behalf of Scott (who thought that would ever happen?) that she finally decided his actions were justified, at least somewhat.

The guy has a long way to go before he's even approaching likable, but last night gave us at least a glimmer that he's not all evil.

In the end, Kim said she learned her lesson and would never take her clothes off again ... unless perhaps it was for Vogue. How long before you think we see her there?

Did you like Scott Disick a little bit better after last night?
