'Kourtney & Kim Take New York' Premiere Recap: Boy Crazy!

Kourtney & Kim Take New YorkThe Kardashians are back! Not that they ever go away, EVER, but tonight was the premiere episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York. They said buh-bye to Miami, switched a sister out along the way, and now Kim and Kourtney are out to launch a third DASH boutique.

And who better to help them than Kanye West? “Mr. West is in the house!” Kim declared upon his arrival. It was a brief appearance, and it’s not clear exactly what kind of help he was providing or if he’ll be a recurring character. Kim was all flirty with him (the "most boy crazy girl in the world," according to Kourtney), and he is black and all, so it could be interesting. Or so says Kim who declared that the press only cares about her relationship with black men. She said she could “be boning a white guy in the middle of the street” and no one would care. I doubt that.

Creepy Scott Disick was back in the picture trying to become likable -- a completely unattainable goal as far I’m concerned. And though he started out living down the hall in the hotel while Kourtney and Kim roomed together, by the end of the show, Kourtney asked him to move into the suite with them -- one big happy family.

Only Kim was annoyed, and justifiably so. He and Kourtney were ALL over each other all the time, and just gross. Tell me you didn't want to vomit when he said, "I've got half hard, half soft ready for you." I guess every show needs a villain, and I know he's her baby daddy, but what can Kourtney possibly see in that guy? She appears to be in lala love with him, however, so I’m afraid we’re still going to see him around this season.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian was single and ready to mingle in the Big Apple. She ran into Michael Copon, her costar from Beyond the Break, and after much hemming and hawing, got up the nerve to ask him out. They had a great date, or so she said, because I wasn’t getting ANY chemistry between the two. Were you? She wouldn’t even kiss him in the end, and pushed him away with a promise to herself to stay single and not fall in love. Sorry, Michael.

Kim’s whole white guys are invisible to the press was shot down too, as immediately after their date she found a story about it posted online. And poor Kim was distraught.

In the end, however, everything was all wrapped up with a nice, big, typical Kardashian bow. Scott provided sage wisdom to Kim about dating; Kim admitted she was selfish about her negativity regarding Scott moving in with them; and Kourtney vowed to make Kim breakfast every morning. Awww, so glad you’re back girls. But where was Mason?
